I HAVE A CONFESSION TO MAKE For all the time he'd spent - wasted - hunting - tracking - him - that moron - down, he'd have thought by know he'd have realized the efforts futile and given up. The fates had a funny way of twisting with his puppet strings, urging him this way and that only to yank what he was searching for right from under his nose, cause him to throw a bit of a trantrum over it, and then throw him right back on the trial of the allusive raven-haired child, hopes high and temper flared with the flame of a phoenix. And he'd spent days - months, more like it, nearly half a year - in this never ending cycle, walking, jogging, running, crawling across the region, hunting his prey all whilst pondering whether or not to go for the kill... or what "the kill" even was. What, did he beat the snot out of the person who'd sent him running in circles for so long, only to turn around and have to do it all over again the next time they parted ways? Or, what, just talk like it was absolutely normal?
But things never were normal with them, were they?
Silver eyes, tired, clouded with the sleep that had almost but not entirely left their owner registered everything about this area, taking in every detail they could see and help the brain they were attatched to try and fathom what details they couldn't. Or, at least, that was what they were doing just moments before. Instead, as the young man's mind began to wander, they'd landed on what appeared to be a satellite, far, far away from anyone down on Poke'earth, but a beautiful sight to behold. The orange streaks of dawn clawed acrossed the already scarred and torn ground, the sun not yet peaking its glorious eyes over the horizon and greating every human and Pocket Monster alike with the marvel that was day. The night had long since crumpled to the force of light. The harsh winds of the dark hours had muted to nothing more than a subtle breeze, hardly even noticable on his rough, calloused skin. The stars had died to be reborn again at the end of the daylight hours. Everything was peaceful. But the ground not far away was not.
Silver know he couldn't stay there long. Spitfire Road was a dangerous place and, while he'd never been the type to cringe, cower, and flee from his fears, the idea of a radiation filled death didn't really appeal to him. There was a difference between risking yourself for a cause and tossing your body to the lion's den for no real reason. This particular time would fall into the latter. While he hadn't been there long, though, and the place was gaining speed on the path towards being inhabitable again, there really was nothing for him to see that he hadn't already and his legs willed him to turn tail and flee. He'd been here not long before, anyway. It was a constant reminder of hor he had failed. If he'd joined the fight a little earlier, had he know their plans, could he have stopped Imum from destroying the beloved city of Ishya? Yes. Yes, he could have. But he didn't, and hundreds of people had lost their lives because of his simple mistake. But no number of apologies and no number of good deeds couldbring back the souls of the dead. He would have to stare at the shattered remains of life for as long as they remained.
But nevermind that, he hissed in silence, tearing his gaze away and watching his feet as they carried him further from the point at which he'd just been watching. You've got an imbucile to locate - again. You'd htink he'd learn by now to stay in one place...

He even walked with the urgency of an important mission. This time, he was on the road, Spit Fire Road, to the Ishya Ruins. What a better place to start searching for clues than the ruins that used to be Ishya city, before being destroyed by Team Imum? The events were so close together, Team Imum's grand appearance and just as grand defeat, and the disappearance of Arceus, that there just had to be clues relating the two of them. And now the rising of new powers, Minder and Besser... The Eon Legendary Pokemon couldn't ignore the proximity in time between these events. Oh, and, dare he not forget that this very road, Spit Fire Road, used to be known as Erayo city. Destroyed, of course, by Team Imum. He had his eyes watching carefully his surroundings, searching for clues that might lead to the discovery of all of Team Imum's actions. Could Team Imum have been one of the original causes for Arceus's disappearance? He could not be sure, but he had to know. Before seeking answers with team Bessor and Minder, he had to seek answers from the past. But to him, it was hardly the past; hardly yesterday. To him, time was an eternity that was his entire life. He couldn't compare his lifespan to any of the legendaries's like Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, or especially Arceus's, but he still felt like the recent events only happened overnight. In the distance ahead of him, he saw a red-headed person, yes, red-headed was the first thing he noticed - the red sky did a fine job illuminating that. With his telepathic powers, he could easily as day sense the dark emotions radiating from the boy like as if a human was using Dark Pulse; as a dual Psychic type, that irritated him more than it usually would. Especially due to the intensity of the dark aura. From his distance, he watched the boy, felt his dark emotions shifting and stirring as the boy's gaze traveled over his surroundings. That also perked up his curiosity. Using his telepathic powers, he decided to take the initiative, and put these subtle thoughts in the boy's head: "What has Team Imum done here?" With luck, hopefully his intentions would not be given away, and the boy would just let his thoughts wander, and give Yuu the information he wanted. In this sense, information gathering was his Arceus-given gift.

How long had he been traveling? Weeks? Months? Honestly, he couldn't remember. Gold had been on the move for some time now, traveling around the Lyeant region for what others would see as a pointless reason. A thought had struck him a while back; he hadn't seen Silver in a long time. In fact, it had been years. Even though it hardly seemed that long, he knew it had actually been that long. So, he decided he needed to go and find the red-haired man, no matter how long it took. For some reason, he felt that he needed to find him. He had seen Crys plenty of timed over the years, but without Silver their meetings seemed dull. He still enjoyed Crystal's company a lot, and they had loads of fun, but he could genuinely say he missed the certain silver-eyed male. Now the trainer was on his way through Spit-Fire Road, on the way to what used to be Ishya City. His golden eyes glanced around frantically, searching for Silver, when he noticed the ruins of what used to be a house. He began to be filled with sadness, remembering the days when Ishya City was still here. Gold clearly remembered the bustling, beautiful city, full of tons of people as well as many types of Pokemon. He had to tear his eyes away; it wouldn't make anything better by being sad. Sighing and pushing his hands into his pockets, the raven-haired male watched the sun come up, its beautiful orange, yellow and red colors streaking across the sky. Continuing his walking, Gold kept his firm pace as he made his way even farther down the road. Staring through the bright rays of the sun, Gold's eyes widened as he looked up to see a figure walking towards him. It couldn't be him, right? That would be way too much of a coincidence. The trainer continued up the path, still keeping his eyes on the approaching figure, until he got not very far away from them. Then he recognized that red hair, that build, the dark clothes, and knew for a fact that it had to be Silver. Mouth agape in shock, Gold took off down the road towards Silver without a second's thought. In the process of sprinting like a maniac down the deserted road, he had only made it a few feet from the familiar figure when he tripped and fell, face hitting the dirt/old pavement mix. Of course, he quickly stood back up, and managed to walk the rest of the way to the red-haired male, a huge happy smirk plastered on his face. Once he confronted the silver-eyed male, however, he was at a loss of what to actually say. "S-Silver, it's really you right?" He laughed, quickly dusting off his clothes. "You know, I haven't seen you in forever! We've really got some catching up to do! And ya know, I've been looking everywhere for you. I didn't know where you could be, whether you were dead or whatever! I'm glad you're fine!" He spluttered out, not really thinking about what he was saying. He was just so happy. His huge happy grin faded eventually as he realized he couldn't think of anything else to say. Talk about awkward. Overcome by his crazy happiness and relief, Gold flung himself at the other trainer and wrapped him in a huge hug. He honestly didn't care that Silver would probably punch him or something, and knew that he would get yelled at. He couldn't care less. EVERYONE'S GOT THEIR CHAINS TO BREAK Remember that fancy line about "fate having a funny way of ruining everything"? Yeah, talk about attack of the killer fate. Perhaps it was that particular day, or maybe something he'd done personally to tick of the big guy - guys? - up there. Whatever the reason, the outcome was still the same - someone was just making fun of him, he knew it. He goes hunting down a certain male and, what do you know? Bam! There he is, right in your face, squeezing you so tightly you can hardly breath, much less think and come up with some idea as to why he's acting the way he is and fathom all of the cuss words you can possibly muster up at that particular point in time and - Oh, my, we've gotten a bit off track, haven't we? Where were we last? Here, let me see... Ah, yes, everyone's favorite little red-head moping because he couldn't save a few people. That's right. Ahem.
It was almost too painful to look at. The shattered remains of civilization, that was. That, along with the still slightly toxic fumes floating through the air made it nearly unbearable to stay for more than a short span of time. Even having been there for a short of time as that was long enough for him; all the silver-eyed trainer knew was that he wanted out of there and there wasn't anything that was possibly going to stop him. And, for the most part, on his way down, nothing did. The path, burnt and acidic enough to burn his boots if he stayed long enough was generally clear, just the remains of old buildings or a tree that toppled over blocking the path, but they were all generally easy to hop over, move on, and ignore. The idea of hunting down Gold at that point was entirely cast from his mind, the resentment toward his post failures to powerful an impact on him to allow him to fathom anything but. The least thing he was expecting at the time, in addition, was a mysterious voice whispering six simple words to him.
"What has Team Imum done here?"
Silver started, nearly leaping out of his skin at the sound and going into high alert after the voice dissipated as soon as it had materialized. The dark-clothed male was used to this sort of situation, though; if he truly set his mind to it, not a soul would get out of the proximity without him catching sight of them and tackling them to the ground to drag out information from them first. The own of this voice, seemingly projected into his head would, sadly, meet a similar fate. Sadly, the very existence of the telepathy - or, at least, that was what he was lead to believe it was - drew curiosity... and conflict within him. Did he answer? If he did, how would he respond, anyway? If it truly was telepathy, there was no way he could possibly reply with telepathy of his own - he simply didn't have that skill. And everyone knew of the rise, acts, and downfall of the region's most feared enemy. How could this enigma not? However, curiosity always bettered intelligence in the end and, stupidly, he found himself calling aloud, "Toxic waste. Dumped it on a town, ate it all up within a day. Well, as you can see for yourself." He gestured toward the area around him before realizing it frivolous. He was probably just going mad.
Shaking his head, he continued forward, not entirely sure where his feet were taking him or from whom that voice had been transmitted. The Dex Holder's theory, though, about going mad couldn't have been to far fetched. Just moments later, a figure showed up a good number of yards away, far enough that he couldn't make out the details. Pausing, he wondered if this had been the person speaking to him from earlier, come to meet him in person so he did not walk away once more without being called out on for being "rude". The stupidity of it all, honestly. However, as he drew closer, taking up his stride to meet the stranger half way, he became fully aware that this was no stranger at all. Only someone like Gold would run straight on like that, fall to their face in what looked like a painful manner, only to get back up like nothing had happened. Metallic colored eyes just as wide as the other boy's mouth, he only managed to get out, "Gold, what are you-" before the shorter of the two already started speaking.
"S-Silver, it's really you, right?" he asked, face aglow with utter and complete joy. With a scowl, shoving his hands into his pockets indifferently, the taller of the two responded coolly, "Of course it's me, idiot. How many other people do you know that look like this?" He'd only the time to roll his eyes before the conversation was sprung up once more. "You know, I haven't seen you in forever! We've really got some catching up to do! And, ya' know, I've been looking everywhere for you. I didn't know where you could be, whether you were dead or whatever! I'm glad you're fine!" It took him a moment to process all that the raven-haired trainer had rambled before he managed to process one aspect fully: Gold was looking for him? Well, this, he had not been expecting. Even more shocking than that, however, even the words that had been transmitted into his mind earlier, was when the older of the two flung himself at him, pulling him into what many called the infamous bear hug.
Upon instinct, Silver's face burned a bright red and, trying to gather what was going on, he tried to pry himself out of the other Dex Holder's grip. "L-let me go, idiot! Can I have my personal space for more than five seconds around you?"

Maybe the suggestion was a little too sudden. Maybe he needed to be more gentle, and even more secretive. In the distance, Yuu saw the red-headed boy nearly flinch at the intrusion on his thoughts. Still trying to act like just a passerby traveler, Yuu was prepared in case this one was a smart kid who would find out who had just used telepathy on him. The chances were practically impossible, when logic was considered. What pokemon could use telepathy, in the entire world of pokemon? Among others, perhaps, there were Mewtwo, Latias, and Latios. The fusion of all the legendaries into Gijinkas was a secret, but it was also known that Latios and Latias could take on the forms of humans. Out of the bit of pride that he had, he had let the two signature Latios tufts of hair show even with his human hair. If this red-headed boy had some real good instincts, Yuu could find himself being discovered. Yuu was prepared for that too. He could cast an illusion rendering himself invisible, and fly off in mere seconds. Yuu was less afraid of getting discovered than discovering what he wanted to know. It came as a surprise to the dark-haired human male in traditional Japanese clothes when the red-headed boy shouted out the answers to the question he had heard in his mind. Well, that worked too. As of yet, it didn't appear that the red-head had discovered Yuu. Unlucky for the Latios Gijinka, the answer didn't tell him much of anything about Team Imum, its motives, and the results of its actions. Interrupting his thoughts was the loud call of another kid. Everyone was merely a child to Latios, who had lived for longer than any of these humans, these destructive humans. Yuu watched curiously from where he was a distance still away from the two boys. No, he had not the time to watch the two acquaintances frolic. He needed information, and just from a quick overview of the newcomer, he decided he would get more information from the red-head. But it still couldn't hurt to try. His first test subject for gathering information must be suspicious by now. So Yuu now projected his thoughts to the darker-haired boy, although he wasn't expecting to get very splendid results. What happened to Team Imum? He kept his voice to a soft whisper, blending in with the undertones of the boy's subconsciousness, trying to be as discrete as possible. The two boys were obviously speaking after being apart for a long time. Maybe they had been a part of the battle against team Imum.

In the midst of his own happiness, Gold hardly noticed that Silver had been trying to squeeze out of his hug. Hearing Silver gasp out that he couldn't even get a moment's worth of personal space around him, the raven-haired male's huge happy grin spread even wider. It was obvious that Silver hadn't changed a bit. A sly smirk spreading across his face, the shorter of the two squeezed his hug even harder for a second before finally releasing the other Dex holder. Seeing how Silver's face was as red as a Cheri Berry, Gold went into an uncontrollable bout of laughter. "W-What's wrong? Not used to hugs? I've got plenty more!" He teased, pretending to lunge forward to give Silver another huge hug only to fall over in his own laughter. Clenching his stomach in pain from the laughter, Gold had finally stopped laughing when a voice popped into his head. It sounded echoey, as if he were talking to someone inside a huge cavern. What happened to Team Imum? Said the strange voice, and Gold's grin faded into a look of confusion. Standing back up, the raven-haired male brushed dirt off of him the best that he could, looking around, his golden eyes troubled. "Did you hear that?" Gold asked as he turned back to Silver, scratching the back of his head with one hand. "I could've swore someone just asked me about what had happened to Team Imum." After a final look around, Gold shrugged. If he had heard the voice in his head, could he talk back to it in his head? Figuring nothing could go wrong out of it, Gold said inside of his head, You don't know? They were taken down by a whole bunch of people. The group has supposedly split up since then. I helped, ya know! Not even waiting for a response from the mysterious voice, he turned back to Silver. "What brought you all the way out here? You know I was out looking for you, but what have you been doing during this whole time?" He asked, grinning once again. Words;; 351~ Not as good as last time, but whatever xD Notes;; My feet are cold ;~; Sorry for taking so long to reply, I've been pretty busy lately... WERE YOU BORN TO RESIST It appeared as though whatever he had heard before had not persisted and was likely he hearing nothing but the wind and mistaking it for words. Almost like how one hears their name from time to time when no one says anything, correct? Regardless of the variety of excuses he was choosing to tack onto the mysterious occurance that had just taken place as not to make himself feel like a mad man, his sanity was ensured and mazed out to one hundred percent once more, mind ready for the rest of the things that fate had in store for him that day. And, goodness, with a burning city just behind him and beyond eye sight and a certain golden-eyed male standing before him, it was a little too obvious that he'd need all the attention he could muster in order to get through the next twelve hours without clawing out someone's throat or tearin ghis hair out to the point of being bald. In other words, things weren't exactly looking his way, despite he succeeding in finding his long lost partner. If only he had Crystal at his side to mediate and keep the shorter boy to stop touching him. Goodness, how he hated things like hugs and "fist bumps" or whatever frivolous thing they called it now a days.
The raven-haired trainer was truly asking for a beating, what with his attitude and actions that transpired after Silver's series of clues as to what he should have been doing. And what, exactly, should he have been doing? Wel,l getting off of him for starters, and not picking up with the hug where he left off any time soon. A grumpy face and a cry for breath should have been blatent indications to loosen the pressure; however, instead, the embrace was only tightened with an evil smirk for all of three seconds before easing up completely. For effect, the red-haired male staggered back a bit and took a few deep breaths, realizing just how warm his face was growing. Gosh darnit! This always happened whenever there was a man named Gold within ten feet of him. Trying to hide it was pointless and get him nowhere; his embarassment was on display for all to see, the moron only proving him right by laughing and asking, "Wh-what's wrong? Not used to hugs? I've got plenty more!" It was then that his eyes went wide again. He hissed, "Gold, If you hug me one more time, I swear, I'll -" Too late. The boy was already throwing himself at him. Bracing for impact, the taller of the two raised his arms to shield his face... froma blow that never came. More laughter. Openning his closed eyes, he say the idiot sprawled on the ground, laughing like a maniac. Why the little-
A sudden shift in expression caught Silver's attention and, after a bit, the color managed to drain from his face and leave him as pale as ever. However, he said nothing to match his sudden change of glee to confusion, only proving to worry the exchanger more. What, had he done something wrong? Had the hatcher hurt himself somehow, or bodily functions proving to inflict just as bad of injuries to him? No, it wasn't pain or anything glittering in his eyes, just... confusion. "What's the matter?" he asked sharply, actual concern thinly veiled by somewhat of a growl. It didn't appear that his question was processed, but he certainly got an answer regardless. "Did you hear that?" What? Heard what? Other than the remaining echoes of obnoxious laughter and the wind that played with their hair and clothes, there wasn't anything to listen to. Was this some sort of "it was totally silent for a whole second there" type of things? Or was something seriously the matter? "I could've sworn someone just asked me about what happened to Team Imum." His reaction was immediate, face crumpling in on itself in a displeased sort of scowl. Team Imum again, this time projected into the admittably less intelligent of the two? Maybe it wasn't the wind, but that also meant that he wasn't going mad if another heard it, too. So what could it possibly be...?
There was obviously someone in their midst. It was only a matter of finding out just who it was and where they were hiding in plain sight. The tall male eyed his partner for a bit - the one who had fallen uncharacteristically silent - before scanning the area in search of any clues or figures. Nothing. That was to be assumed, however; anyone with a brain would know where to hide without some body part on display for all to oogle at. If he started moving around, however, in pursuit of the culprit of the repeated crime, this would unsettle Gold and, if there was one thing he didn't want to happen was Gold trying to assist in the investigation. He might as well hold up a giant sign saying, "I KNOW YOU'RE HERE, I'MMA FIND YOU". At least he'd have a chance to catch the enemy off guard in supposed stupidity with that tactic. You're lucky, he murmered mentally, not really even sure if the telepath would be able to hear him or not. If he wasn't here, I'd have already hunted you down. But, by this point in time, his attention was being stolen away from the important things while his friend sprung into yet another conversation topic.
"What brought you all the way out here? You know I was looking for you, but what have you been doing during this whole time?" Not a moment later did he idiotically blurt, "I was looking for y-" Thankfully, he managed to catch himself before he did what any moron did and shouted out his silly little misson. Oh, no, as far as the shorter man before him was concerned, he hadn't even crossed his mind while they were appart, much less plagued him to the point of trying to catch him on his way across the journey. "W-well, you know, the usual. I just kind of... go wherever, I guess. Not like there's anything here I haven't already seen, sadly. But here... Here, I guess I was just thinking about Imum. But, I guess I think I always take a while to get over the villains we take down, don't I...?"

Curses! Foiled again! Yuu's greatest showing of his frustration in his attempts for information was only when he closed his eyes for a second, then continued his act as a mere passerby. If someone were to look at him closely in search of any signs of his identity as a gijinka, more specifically, the Gijinka of Latios, they'd only be able to confirm the unique Latios-ear-shaped spikes of black hair on his head. Coincidentally, he wore a mostly white and blue kimono, but only someone who had actually seen a Latios before would have the chance of looking at him and thinking that he reminded him or her of a Latios. If he were ever in any danger, though, he could simply go invisible and make a quick escape, but he would only do that in the situation where his identity were to be discovered, and hiding his powers as a gijinka with the ability, Levitate, was no longer necessary. By now, his movement had brought him even closer to the two boys ahead of him. At some point, he would eventually have to pass by and be on his way. The problem was that his previous attempts at getting information were slowly beginning to call attention to himself. The darker haired one seemed to whisper to the red-headed one, and then they both began looking around. Had he been discovered? The only thing he could think of doing right away was simply keep walking forward, or turn around for no reason and begin walking the other way. Although turning around right after the two boys had gained suspicious of him would only raise their suspicious, it also had a good chance of letting him avoid conflict altogether, but only as long as the other two beings out in this cold and unfeeling place were willing to just let the whole suspicion go. He was maybe twenty or so meters from walking by the boys, but Yuu stopped walking, looked around, turned around and looked in the direction he had come from, and began to walk away from the boys. He would see how long he could feign it all. What did he have to lose from gaining suspicions from a few random trainers like these two boys? Yuu didn't dream that they were anything special. They, like most other trainers in the Lyeant region had probably fought off Team Imum as well, but he saw no real reason to worry about his identity being suspected by a few strangers he met by chance in a desolate place such as Spitfire road.
