Here it is, this is the thread where my midget Tayuya was a badass.
It had been hectic this week. They were losing recruiters to the police, and the only one who was fast enough to get away is driving the higher ups through the roof. Zorn stood up on stage as a group of grunts wheeled a tarp-covered cage that occasionally shook. Behind them, Tayuya marched proudly in the aisle, making her way to the stage. As they wheeled the cart onto the stage, Tayuya stood behind Zorn and Mandibuzz, staying silent to await their orders.
"Fighting within the ranks is forbidden." He spoke after awhile.
"I know." Tayuya replied.
"You should have retrieved an admin." He continued.
"I was more worried about the students than myself." Tayuya countered.
"So it is their fault?" Zorn asked.
"For being in the right place at the wrong time? Nope. But I still wanted to make sure they got out unharmed." Tayuya said defiantly.
"And for that, your punishment is lenient. Soon, the auditorium will be filled with the students. You will perform for them, and you will do it on your own. You will have no assistance. Are you prepared to accept the consequences?" Zorn questioned.
"Yep." Said the recruiter in a tone that was borderline bored.
"Very well, you may prepare." Zorn concluded. Tayuya gave a curt nod and went backstage to talk to Rain and Fang, discussing a strategy.
"Unassisted includes your pokemon." Zorn piped.
"I know." Tayuya replied.
And now they only had to wait.

Zorn and Mandibuzz waited patiently as the auditorium filled with members of all ranks. They were satisfied with the turnout and Zorn cleared his throat, waiting until the auditorium before speaking.
"Welcome, one and all. I am Zorn, your leader. I have called you here for one reason and one reason alone. To show you what Team Necro is truly capable of. I will warn you, what you are about to see is NOT for the faint of heart, but I trust none of you are. Without further adieu, I give you, the Grassland Pokemon, the mighty Virizion!" He said as Mandibuzz flew towards the cage, pulling off the tarp to reveal an angry Virizion, it's legs shackled in the bottom of the cage. The green deer-like pokemon glared at Zorn before looking over the audience, it's anger intensifying as it struggled in its chains once more. Zorn, unaffected by the commotion, cleared his throat and looked behind him before he spoke to the audience once more.
"Now normally, we would have professionals doing this, and let the Grotto Keepers perform for you. However, due to a little incident earlier this week, you will watch one of our Recruiters face off against this beast. She will use only her wits and skills, and will be unassisted the entire time, including her pokemon. This is your only warning, obey the rules, or face the consequences." He said, walking towards the back of the stage where Tayuya stood, holding something behind her back. He gave her a curt nod and, as Tayuya walked towards the center of the stage, he raised a hand, signaling Mandibuzz to land on top of the cage.
"Begin!" He commanded. Mandibuzz opened the cage and set the Virizion free of its shackles. The green pokemon turned to Tayuya and growled, leaning down in an offensive position. Tayuya gave her signature Wild Grin and pulled a hand out from behind her back, beckoning the pokemon forward.
"COME AT ME BRO!" She taunted. The fun was about to begin.

Taking the bait, Virizion charged forward, giving a battle cry. Tayuya stayed still, dodging at the last moment and flashing her other hand, wounding the pokemon on its side. Turning around, Virizion saw Tayuya standing as tall as she could, a crystal-like sword in her ribbon-covered hand. Zorn raised a brow from backstage as Virizion charged again, its horned glowing a bright green, and Tayuya raised her glassy katana and clashed with the Virizion, her grin not faltering.
"Sorry love, you'll need a LOT more than that if you want to shatter Rain's ice. Give me everything you've got, let's give the audience a good show!" She said, reaching her leg out to trip the pokemon. Virizion faltered, and it was distracted enough to allow Tayuya an opening, and she sliced her blade upward, cutting off one of the scarf-like leaves on Virizion's neck. Virizion howled in pain and spun around, donkey-kicking Tayuya with its back legs. Tayuya sailed through the air, landing on her back with her sword beside her, but she quickly rolled back into a standing position and ran towards Virizion again.
The two combatants clashed over and over, injuring each other yet neither side giving in. Virizion's Leaf Blade shifted into Sacred Sword during the fight, but Tayuya's own sword still held strong, though it was melting at a slow rate, the cold water seeping through the red cloth that protected Tayuya's from the chill. Her hand started growing numb, and Tayuya knew she had to finish this quickly. She backed off from Virizion a bit and brought her Katana forward in front of her, slicing sideways to try and slit the pokemon's throat. Virizion quickly shifted and brought a hind leg forward to deflect the attack. Instead of ending the pokemon's life, Tayuya shaved a good portion of its thigh away clear to the bone. Virizion whimpered, but it was not going to give up yet, and it kicked Tayuya's ice blade out of her hand.
Without her weapon, Tayuya was forced into defense as Virizion charged her in Close Combat. Though she managed to dodge a good number of the attack, a blow from Virizion's head into Tayuya's gut knocked the air out of her, sending her to the floor. She tried to get up from her back, but Virizion pushed her back down, looming over her with a glare. Blood from its neck seeped down and dripped onto Tayuya's face. The pokemon slowly raised its head, preparing Sacred Sword, and Tayuya watched as she tried to form a plan. She looked at and around Virizion to see if there was anything she could to. Catching her breath, Tayuya found what she was looking for and grinned, beginning to chuckle, much to Virizion's confusion.
"Checkmate." Was all Tayuya said as she pulled one of her legs back. She thrusted her leg forward as hard as she could into the exposed bone, cracking it. Virizion howled in pain and reared up, allowing Tayuya to roll away and run towards her fallen weapon. Virizion caught sight of Tayuya and chased her despite its fractured leg, knowing what she wanted to do. Tayuya rewrapped her hand in the red cloth and grabbed the sword as Virizion chased her, and she turned around to meet the sacred sword, her melting sword in hand. Both fighters brought their weapons forward and it was all over. Blood spurted from the final blows, coating the audience in a layer of liquid ruby.
Both human and pokemon stood still, Virizion's right horn deep in Tayuya's side while Tayuya's sword was plunged into its chest up to her hand. Pokemon and human stared at each other with glossy eyes before Tayuya came to, wrenching her hand clutching the sword in Virizion's chest. Virizion wheezed once and fell away from Tayuya, causing another, smaller, wave of blood to issue from Tayuya's pierced gut. Tayuya coughed as she too, fell to her knees and released her grip on her sword, unwrapping the cloth that once protected her hand and putting it to her injured stomach. As Zorn made his way to the pair, Rain, Fang and Skitty ran to their trainer's aid, and Tayuya gave the four a grin.
"Can I have my promotion now?" She said quietly. Zorn chuckled as he walked past Tayuya while Fang gently picked her up with his tails, seating her on his back as Rain, whom seemed almost naked without the red sash tied around her body, hovered over Tayuya worriedly.
"We'll see. Go get fixed up. You did well." He said. Tayuya grinned in a friendlier manner as Fang began to slowly walk off the stage. Tayuya looked at the crimson-colored audience and chuckled at them softly.
"Cold water is best for getting bloodstains out of clothes!" She shouted as loud as she could as she was taken away. Zorn shook his head in exasperation and turned to the dead Virizion.
