To say it was one of the most graceful sights you could see in the skies of the world inhabited by people and Pokemon....would be a bit untrue. Ian Lancaster struggled to maintain a good flight pattern, not really used to the flight harness hooked up to the large avian whose back he traveled on. He was still pretty much learning by the time he was sent off, so he'd need to pick up the rest as soon as he could on his journey. Sadly, that was still a work in progress.
Ace the pidgeot did his best to pick up on some of the mistakes Ian was making, never mad, merely concerned for the poor boy. He rather liked the lad, not bossy, nice, somewhat good at grooming, plus he had a good heart. And to the big bird, that's all that really mattered. A smirk adorned his beak as he tried to correct their flight pattern, the harness making it a tad more difficult but not impossible.
The young man tried to calm himself, pausing as they seemed to be stable for the moment looking around to gaze over the new land he'd traveled too. It was beautiful, not quite like Johto, but having its own charms and beauties that made it unique and wonderful in its own way. He smiled softly It was sights like these he adored, scenes of natural beauty, scenes that made him want to travel the world and find more. This was truly worth the risk, the danger of traveling.
Speaking of natural beauty. As he returned his gaze to the flight path he caught sight of something. Was it...a balloon? Someone inside it....who were they? He guided Ace to fly closer, trying to investigate the other sky dweller, who knows, maybe they were friendly. As he got close e got a better look alright. It was a girl...in a swimsuit. He flushed dark red, looking away instinctively, also jerking the reins hard to one side by accident, making the mount and ride turn hard and plummet to the ground.
Now, normally this is something Ace would've corrected. And seeing the girl in the balloon, he was too busy looking to really pay attention.
Before either of them knew it, they were Looking at a quickly approaching ground. In a moment however, both snapped out of it. Ian gasped and pulled up hard, Ace doing the same, both acting in time to change their target from the hard ground, to a slightly softer if not more bushier Tree. both slammed hard into the tree, crying out in surprise and pain, a loud slamming and crashing noise emitting once both made contact.
That had to hurt.

Whoo! that had been a close one! Claire kept looking back over her shoulder at the distant beach, thinking she heard the click of those large claws.. How was she supposed to know that beach had a nest of Kingler nearby?!? Now dressed in that two-piece swimsuit, a light peach color that looked white in the sun, but gave off the softest hint of a peach blush if examined. The little material around her waist, covering the bottom half of the suit but which came as a set with the two-piece, fluttered in the wind. She had one hand up, holding her sun hat, the other was leaning on the edge of the basket she stood in.
"Sorry about that, Eden. I just wanted a dip.." she spoke up, talking to the Drifblim keeping them aloft. She hummed softly, a female of few words, but Claire had over the years picked up on the tone of those hums and bleeps and balloon-like sounds. It wasn't perfect, but she was fairly sure she heard no ill feelings in that hum, and smiled. Trust your instincts, Claire.
The morph looked about, trying to spot another beach, or landmarks of notice.. and saw a form flying closer. A boy on a Pidgeot? Interesting! She almost waved, then found herself caught in a yawn. Forgot to breathe? It turned into a long stretch, her hands above her head, then with a nice little crack as her spine popped wonderfully and bounced her breasts, she looked back towards the boy.
Oh noes! They were crashing! She tried not to wince at seeing them go into the tree, then turned her head back to Eden. She had seen it too though, of course she did, and seemed to know what she wanted, "Hurry, Eden!" Claire watched as their altitude lowered, lowered, then evened out as they turned into the mainland again and came to a slowing stop near the tree. Both of them on the ground? She waited until Eden put the basket all the way on the ground, but she had already slung a hardened leather box over her shoulder by the strap, checking on the nestled egg in the corner. Yellow with spiky brown markings. She fastened her belt onto her waist, then hopped over the edge of the basket and hurried over in her swimsuit to the pair.
She had a Heal Ball in her hand, which she expanded with the press of the button, then threw forwards. "Abigail!" she cried out, letting the Audino in the ball be released. As she appeared, and Claire caught the ball to replace it on her belt again, she pointed to the boy and his Pidgeot, not stopping her movements the whole time.
She sank to her knees to check the boy over first, pulling him to rest on her chest so she could better hear breathing, feel pulse, those kinds of things. She was part Audino though, so that was rather moot. Meanwhile, Abby had moved quickly to check on the Pidgeot, looking about as concerned as Claire was.

Daisy continued to trudge along down Route 1, starting to feel a bit of fatigue. She was starting to think that mayhaps her stubborn lil Eevee had been right all along, but the sight of Vardent being so close was the only thing that kept her from just stopping to rest right that second. "I'm starting to think that maybe you were right Draca... we did get up too early." She had only wanted to get an early start because they were only a few miles away, but it was turning out that she had just made yet another rash decision... After all since when had she been a morning person, soo soo stupid.
Suddenly she swung around at the sound of loud, and rather distressed cries coming from overhead. A large avian pokemon and its rider were crashing out of the sky and seemingly right at her. Her heart jumped in her chest at the thought of being crushed beneath it's weight and she started to panic and run back and forth trying to get out of the way. Draca just gave a gentle yawn and climbed inside Daisy's knapsack, burrowing into the roll of her owner's sleeping bag. Even if Daisy were hit she would be safe. "ARCEUS Please Don't Hit Me!!!" the girl cried out, hoping the the rider could hear her pleas, and at the last moment she dived into a nearby bush, just missing how the pair turned upwards and crashed into a nearby tree.
She gave a sigh of relief as she pulled herself from the bramble-bush, and noticed that Draca was missing. "Draca... Draca, where'd you go?" She started to frantically look about for her companion. Searching high and low, when she noticed the pair that almost hit her laying on the ground beneath a tree. "Hey You Two are the ones who almost hit me! What is wrong with you?" She snorted before noting the fact that the two of them weren't moving. With Draca finally sticking her head out in curiosity, the two of them crept closer, wondering if the bird and its rider were alright.
As she started towards them to help, the sudden arrival of a third person and her pokemon startled the young trainer. Letting out a loud squeak she almost jumped back into the bush in surprise. "Hey.. Hey you... They just crashed into that tree... Did you make them do that?!?!" Daisy's eyes went wide in disbelief as the new trainer released an Audino, "Hey is that an Audino... are.. are you a Medic? a Nurse?" She hoped there might be someway she could help, and started closer again. "Are they going to be alright? the sound of them hitting that tree was pretty loud. Is there any way I can help?"

If he could thank arceus for anything, it was his Pokemon. Ace managed to get Ian the softest landing possible, the youth still fell to the ground and rolled a bit from the pidgeot, but he only retained a minor scratch or two on the cheek from branches. The world was still spinning so he didn't move, trying to let his senses regain themselves.
As Claire approached and released her audino, Ace got up, ruffling his feathers and shaking his long flowing plume. "Ugh....not the most graceful landing Ive ever preformed. Not the worst though" the pidgeot grumbled, blinking down at the sight of the audino. "Well... Hello there. Are you here to check on the crash?" he asked, smiling down at the pink Pokemon.
Ian himself groaned as he was pulled to Claire's chest, blinking slowly awake, letting the world come back into focus as he looked up, right into the beautiful face of Claire. he blinked again, then flushed bright red. He froze, not sure what was really going on. "H-H-H-H-Hello" he managed to get out, sitting up slowly, rubbing his head, trying not to look directly into the girls pretty eye's. he rubbed his cheek, giving a small gasp of pain then drawing back his hand, seeing the blood. "D-Did I crash?"

Claire was suddenly overwhelmed by questions, looking up to see someone she had missed before apparently. She was no nurse, but medic was a good term. She couldn't answer the questions right now. It was more important to treat the boy of any injuries.. of which there didn't seem to be many.. and he was waking up on his own. Well darn..
Abigail had hurried over to the Pidgeot for no reason apparently. One did not simply crash into a tree and be okay.. "Of course! How are you feeling? Is there any damage that needs healing?" she fretted over the avian still in her motherly tones, paws pressed together as she examined him.
Claire meanwhile found an awake Ian on her. "Howdy there, hun." she giggled at Ian, who sat up and addressed her. She smiled, nodding to his question, "Yep, knocked you pretty hard from the looks of it.. but you don't seem too hurt.." Even so, she opened her medical box, retrieving disinfectant and small, short bandages for the scratches, leaning over in order to apply them. Only then while treating the boy did she answer the other in their presence, "He'll be fine, and no I didn't cause it.. Well I don't think so." she admitted.

Daisy blushed brightly as the boy was pulled into the girls bosom. Turning her head to take away the view she withdrew Draca from her bag and dropped it, the weighted sack making a loud thud as it crashed to the ground. Draca jumped down to investigate the other pokemon, meaning she went to sniff them, while Daisy tried to ask the boy how he felt.
When the girl responded instead she gave a slow nod. Considering the fact that the boy would be alright, that this new girl hadn't caused the crash, and that he had almost crashed right on top of her she started to fume again. She looked from the girl to the boy while speaking, "Well if you didn't cause it.... Considering that you will be alright, Why the Heck did you almost CRASH into Me!?!?!" She huffed waiting for his answer, almost indignantly.
Meanwhile Draca was over with the Audino and the Pidgeot, getting their scents then moved off to curl up in the shade. If her human was willing to put down her bag that meant that it was time to rest. If it was time to rest then she darn well was going to go back to sleep, despite or maybe in spite of these people's fretting.

Well he wasn't COMPLETELY unharmed. His Wing was a little dinged. He gave a few petty attempts and whimpered, winking at the lovely audino playfully then chuckling. "I'm fine, trust me. This is far from my worst crash. Still, nothing a look over cant fix hmm? Never know when its something I just cant feel" he said, spreading his considerable wingspan, letting her search.
Ian jumped, quite literally at the sound of the bag dropping. He panted a bit and slowly relaxed, looking to the new girl, blushing just as much. Why were all these girls here? So embarrassing! Still, she seemed mad, he'd almost hit her? He stopped looking embarrassed then looked a bit sad, bowing suddenly. "I-I apologize. I wasn't paying attention when I was flying and I nearly hit the ground. I didn't mean to cause any trouble to both of you, please forgive me" he said, not looking any of them in the eye, too afraid to look up.
At that, the pidgeot looked over, then hopped over to Daisy. he could tell she was different from scent alone. "Look here Ms...Its my fault we crashed" The pidgeot spoke, bowing to her, then looking right back into her eyes. "Ian's still learning to fly, I got distracted and because of it nearly got us both killed. Don't be mad at him, nor her" he said, beckoning his wing to Claire. Think you can forgive my mistake? he asked, smiling at her.
Ian paused, looking at Ace as he spoke. he couldn't really understand what he was saying but...was he speaking up for him? Ian rubbed his shoulder, looking away nervously. "Please....the both of you...I- We....we're really sorry."

Claire didn't automatically register the yelling, or what everyone was saying. She was tending to Ian, completely focused on the task it seemed. Until he jumped that is, and she flinched back, the little bell on her collar jingling slightly. Only then did she notice the commotion, those long ears drooping in worry, normally hidden by her hair. She had the absolute look of a confused girl on her face, looking back and forth, then at the Pidgeot explaining something to her.
Abigail merely gathered an orb of pink energy in her paws, holding it out to that injured wing. The Heal Pulse dispersed, then fled into that wing to heal it, "Stay still dear. Healing first..." The Audino was quite practical right now. She gazed over to Eden, who was using the loops she used to carry the basket to anchor herself, but was mostly floating and watching. Hard to tell with a Drifblim, but she was pretty sure Eden was prepared to separate them if they clashed.

Daisy started to settle at the embarrassed and then almost saddened look on the boys face. He seemed rather sweet, and his blush made her cheeks turn a rosy shade of pink. Not to mention that his immediate apology definitely wasn't helping much in keeping her temper boiling. "I- I'm sorry to both of you for snapping. I just got really freaked out when you both were falling out of the sky. Especially since it looked like you were coming right at me. And well... I'm just sorry."
The fact that his pokemon was now trying to dissuade her ire onto himself, made her feel rather embarrassed. She bowed back to the avian, "I... I'm sorry to both of you. I'm not mad at her.... Nor am I at him anymore... I guess... I guess I'm really just mad at myself for not having thought to help keep you both from crashing instead of blaming you two for almost squashing me. Please do accept my own apologies... Both of you, I'm glad that you are alright." She smiled nervously and looked at the ground embarrassed at how she had acted.

Ian rubbed the back of his head, still blushing, looking at both girls as the second one gave her apology to both of them. This quickly turned awkward, he wasn't really sure what to say. He took a gulp of air, then smiled shyly at the both of them. "T-Thank you for not being mad at me" he said, offering another bow, rubbing his neck once he came from the bow.
The Pidgeot smiled at seeing how things seemed to be going for the better for Ian. When The heal pulse worked its magic he winced a bit but still held out the wing to the audino, chuckling nervously. "Apologies Ma'am, Didn't mean to go off like that. Just watching out for the kid you know?" he said, giving her a chuckle and a wink. Ian was entrusted to his protection after all, and a promise was a promise, plus he kinda liked the awkward young man.
"Oh! I never introduced myself" Ian said, blushing again. He smiled though, standing tall and smiling warmly at them. "My name Is Ian Lancaster. I'm from Johto, its nice to meet you. Might I know your names?"

Claire picked herself up from the ground and brushed off, watching Abby tend to the Pidgeot. Ever thankful she was to that Audino for being so level-headed and never getting confused with things. She had so much to learn from her.
"There, all better, hmm?" she said with a small little blush, standing and clasping her paws together in the front as the murmur of conversations continued. Eventually, she'd just go to stand next to Eden, if to calm her more than anything.
Claire still didn't seem bothered by what she was wearing, and in fact just accented her assets by pushing her chest out as she resorted her little medical box. Finally, thankfully, she caught up in the conversation, and just smiled to both as the boy introduced himself. She clasped her hands in front, much like her Audino, then gave a fairly large bow that sent the bell around her neck jingling again, "Nice to meet you both! I'm Claire!"
she straightened back up with a giggle, then turned to go back to her balloon basket with a little skip in her step, or a sway depending on how you looked at it. Her tail swayed with her hips. Eden gave a soft, enlightened hum of greeting to Claire when she came in close.

Daisy shifted slightly from foot to foot, her cheeks still a light pink, her eyes still to the ground. It had turned quite awkward for her as well, and at the sound of his thanks her head shot back up, ears perking a bit "I well... you are welcome... I think?" she giggles softly and moves in closer to him, offering her hand at his introduction "The name is Daisy... Daisy Pettigrew, and I'm from a little backwater region called Orre. It's nice to meet you Ian Lancaster." Noting Claire's introduction seconds later she smiles to the other girl "It's quite nice to meet you as well Miss Claire."
She turns to address the Pidgeot as he offers his apologies, making her blush deeper. Wincing in sympathy as she sees the pain on the pokemon's face. "I... There is absolutely no need to apologize. I fully understand, and I'm the one who got mean, you were absolutely in the right." She could see Miss Claire moving back off to her balloon out of the corner of her eye and it caused a slight awwing to escape past her thin lips, "Are... are you leaving Miss Claire...? It- It's always kind of nice to get to meet others of... Our kind..."
Draca meanwhile started to stir again, giving a bit of a stretch of her front paws as she watches whats going on over by the humans. Her maw stretching in a bit of a yawn before getting up to move to her Mistress's side. Looking up to Daisy the lil Eevee miwled softly "Are we staying here or leaving for that nice room you promised me?" Daisy looked down and shushed her pokemon before picking her up and whispering to her "I dunno yet, these people seem kinda nice. So I'd maybe wanna stay here?" She blushed harder looking between the others for a moment. Draca hopped out of her arms and stuck her tongue out playfully, "I just wanted to know if I could take a nap."

Ian smiled at both girls, shaking hands with daisy then turning as he saw Claire walking to her balloon. Out of curiosity, he followed, looking up at the Drifblim in awe, staring at how it was hooked up. "Wow....I-Is that a Drifblim?" he asked, looking to Claire. "I've never seen one before! That's so cool! What're they like?" he asked, smiling happily. Truthfully he had never seen one before, so always curious, he wanted to know more.
Ace flapped the damaged wing and nodded to the Audino, smiling down at her and offering a bow. "you have my thanks" he said, then looked over to Ian, hopping over to join his side while eh observed the other girls, smiling and nodding his head at Daisy to indicate all was well.
Ian blinked at Daisy's words, then looked at Claire. "Your not leaving yet are you? W-We only just met!" he said, blinking aghastly, then shaking it off. "S-Sorry if I sound over excited, I just like meeting new people is all" he said blushing nervously. Great, way to freak them out Ian...

Claire turned back as both of them seemed rather concerned about her leaving. She put a smile on and shook her head, "Nah, I just thought this basket would make travel harder is all." she giggled, reaching over the edge of the sturdy basket and retrieving her clothes and a folded cloth, which she handed to Eden. The Drifblim twirled it, taking the sheet in its four "arms" and making a makeshift curtain around Claire, to which they could only see her feet.
Abigail appeared, standing in front of the curtain, watchful as ever, though these two and their Pokemon seemed nice enough, so she was smiling. The swimsuit Claire had been wearing was hung over the top of that curtain the morph speaking first to Daisy as she changed clothes in regards to being a gijinka, "We're still human though, right? So "our kind" is a very odd term. It is nice to meet others like me though. Are you natural born?"
She retrieves the swimsuit then tugged on Eden. The Pokemon collapsed that curtain and handed it back to Claire, receiving a thank you as she folded it neatly and put it away with her things, slowly repacking her travel bag before turning around and making a small leap to catch Eden. The Drifblim made a soft "Whaaaum" sound as she was lowered, keeping herself and Claire aloft as the Miltank morph giggled, "Eden here's a sweetheart. I dunno about other Drifblim, but she's very nice to nice people, and so am I!" She hugged Eden, then slid off of her, expanding another Heal Ball and pointing it at her, "Rest for now. We've traveled a long way. Return."
As Eden disappeared into her Pokeball, Claire shouldered her usual hiking pack with one arm, carefully retrieving the egg from inside the basket and handing it to Abigail. Next, she took from a side pouch of the pack a small case, opened it, took what could have been a miniature Pokeball with an oversized button, pressed the switch, and threw it into the basket. She busied herself all of three seconds before a bright flash of light engulfed her mode of transportation, then dimmed, leaving nothing on the grass but that capsule, which she picked up and returned to its case along with about eleven or twelve others, then looked at them, "So, Tell me more about yourselves? I like meeting people just as much!" she bounced a bit, her skirt shifting in the wind, light tank top drawn a bit tighter with the pack on her shoulders.

Daisy watches as Draca waddles back off into the shade of the trees. The light breeze blowing against the blades of grass and the soft light being filtered by the leaves definitely made the spot seem quite welcoming. She shook her head, face scrunching up and hands moving to her cheeks as she tried to get herself back into the moment at hand. Opening her eyes she could see that Ian was following Claire to the balloon, and that Claire was putting up a large tarp? No it was a cloth... The moment she saw the swimsuit hitting the top of that cloth her cheeks turned very red. She couldn't help but imagine what was happening behind there from the sight of Claire in her bathing suit before.
She couldn't understand the questions at first, but soon was coming back down to reality as she realized Claire was actually speaking to her... "I... Um I... Ya I guess we are Human, though we're also Pokemon aren't we? I mean... I definitely was when I was young I remember that. I... I guess you could say I am naturally this way... Why? Did you think I wasn't? I mean I know there are people who go through procedures to splice their DNA.... But that seems awfully painful, don't you think?"
The sudden appearance of the capsule and the disappearance of the Basket into it has Daisy almost stunned. Her energy seemingly drained as she stood there in place wide-eyed, though it lasted only momentarily as she moved in to look at where the basket once stood, its outline visible in her head. "How... How'd you do that...? I didn't know that was possible. Does it work like how Pokeballs do? It looks like a pokeball... Why's the button so big?" Seeing inside the case she takes quick note of how many are inside. "How many of those do you have? Do they each make different things? What do they make?" She looked absolutely quizzically as she looked to Claire eagerly for answers.
What was asked of her instead, took the winds immediately from her sails. She kicked at the dirt a bit and gave a light sigh "I... Well my Family is from Orre, pretty sure I was born in Pyrite town, big old Mining Town in the Middle of an Arid Region. That's where my family lives at any rate, they own the rights to the mines there. Bought it when I was really young and started renovating them for reopening. At any rate my Family, my parents, my aunts and uncles, my cousins they're all Eevee Gijinka like me.... Though almost all of them are Evolved forms... Used the stones they dug up... I don't... I don't really like talking about it though... I'm kinda the black sheep..." Her ears flattened against her head and she bit down on her lower lip, feeling a little ashamed of her continued status of being a runaway.
