Lis wasn't having, well, the best day. She'd been following a lead for a Imum admin hiding in Besser (she wasn't sure which one, but taking any of then off the streets was a benefit to mankind.) Nevertheless, she'd flown over to Veherna, went to the Besser headquarters, and asked about each admin by name. In return, she got an "I'm sorry, but we don't give away information about our members to non-members. Lis figured she should try other leads and come back to this one, but the holster on her hip had a little baby itching to come out, an urge that couldn't be resisted for long. Deciding to go to a shooting range, the Imum hunter turned to go to one not far out of the citadel, when a familiar pair of blue eyes showed itself in the crowd and Lis's eyes grew wide. Lorelei was what, ten feet away? Her gaze was right on the path towards Lis, and to avoid her and hope to tail her instead, Lis turned her head with enough oomph to make her hair flip so her face wasn't seen.

The crowd outside the Besser headquarters was worse than it usually was when Lorelei headed to her office building inside, and the sheer number of business men and women trying to worm their way through the doors, security, and whatnot was almost making her claustrophobic. Well, not so much that as weary of the fat, smelly man next to her who repeatedly bumped into her “accidentally”. For such rudeness, she made a mental note to having him fired for some made up reason or another later – being so high up had those sort of advantages. However, not even one step inside her work building and the dark-haired menace was faced with the reality that her work day was already taking a nose dive: the little runaway she'd been tracking since the she, well, ran away; the agitating she-devil who was one out of three Lyeant residents that went about hunting down and killing her old team mates was just a few arms' lengths away. Even when she tried to look away, and hide her identity from Imum's old leader, it was too late. She had plans for the region professor. Will Ryan was... well, she'd let him run free for her own selfish reasons. But Lisbeth Keen would run free no longer. “ I'll be working from home today,” Lorelei informed the man reeking of stench beside her, hoping that he'd pass on the message to anyone curious as to where she was. Off the streets and into the alleyways, however, was where she went rather than home. Lisbeth would likely try to track her and knock her out, but the ignorant swine would be met with nothing but failure.

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. She'd been seen. Time to, well, confront in an alley. The woman's left hand was in a fist, her glove with the iron bits sticking up on. Her other hand reached instinctively towards her gun when Lorelei saw her - would she have to use it? If things went well, and Lorelei could be captured, then, maybe not. But, if on the totally-not-off-chance Lis had to use it, she wouldn't think twice about shooting the admin in the heart, or head. Walking at a brisk pace, she saw Lorelei go down an alley devoid of life save for a stray Skitty, who she just had to take home with her, and some garbage cans. "So, Ms. Ackermann, what brings you to this dirty place on such a nice morning?" Lis said mockingly, swinging her left hook at Lorelei's cheek. "Going home?"

" So, Ms. Ackermann, what brings you to this dirty place on such a nice morning? Going home?" Ah, just as expected. A potentially hard blow was easily dodged by a woman who spent so much time around men who insisted on hand-to-hand combat instead of Pokemon battles, she almost likened herself to untouchable when it came to it sometimes; of course, if Lisbeth used as much tact as they did brute force, “untouchable” would be far from the truth. Holding her hands in the air as a mock surrendering gesture, Lorelei answered, “ Home is on the other side of town, my dear Ms. Keen. I'm almost disappointed to know that my potential stalker thought otherwise.” Quick foot darting out to knock her attacker off her feet, the menace continued, “ If you must know, though, I've made my way here to make sure “Marlene's” reputation is not ruined in the aftermath of my beating you to a bloody pulp.”
