"welcoming to the stage... um, what was your name again?" Uh, I'm Crystal Demien. What poor memory you must have...Either that or it must be the standard.
"well, then, hello! now, this might seem rude, but... would you mind telling me your gender?" ...I'm female. Poor eyesight too. And it's not like they can't tell, even under this lab coat... I guess it must be what they have to ask everyone.
"sorry about that! now, can you tell me your age? birth date? maybe even where you were born?" I-it's fine... I am twenty one, born April thirtieth, in Violet city.
"i might have to get you a birthday present this year! that aside, with whom do you align yourself?" I am lawful good. -taking the interview seriously- Personally I side with Besser because they seem like a good organization, I think.
"so what's your occupation? got any special skills?" I am a pokemon trainer and researcher, and I specialize in capturing pokemon. I am a pokemon capture specialist.
"now, are you a canon character? or an original character?" I am a canon.
THE APPEARANCE" could i have stayed a little longer?" "can you tell me the shortest description of yourself as you can?" Uh.. I have dark blue hair... in pig tails, I have crystal blue eyes, and I wear a lab coat.
"you got a face claim? wanna share it with the world?" CRYSTAL, POKEMON SPECIAL as CRYSTAL DEMIEN.
"what kind of clothing do you like best?" I usually wear comfortable clothes so that I can easily be active even in tough pokemon battles. When I'm working in the lab, I wear a labcoat. Usually I wear my pink shirt underneath a short white long sleeved jacket. I have sport shorts underneath my yellow skirt - the skirt which I don't wear when I'm out there battling or catching pokemon.
"any defining physical traits?" Um, well, a few people have commented on my hair style, saying things like that it's not natural, or physically possible. My mom styled it! I've just been wearing it that way ever since!
"what about the hair and the eyes?" My hair is a dark blue color, and when I have it down, it goes to my upper back in length. My eyes are like a light, crystal blue.
THE PERSONALITY" yours and my story, if only a little," "tell me a bit about how you act." I guess I'm known for being hard working and serious about my work. I'm pretty determined and caring. Being a lawful good, I have just views on most things, and am always very polite and respectful. Um, well, other things people have described me with are being intelligent, talented, and pretty loyal.
Ah, yes, that's right, some bad traits would be... Gold tells me I'm really authoritive, argumentative, a work-a-holic, overly serious, bossy, stubborn, sassy, and slightly conceited... But I'm really a nice person! I just sometimes get a bit jealous when others are stronger than me... OTL -shame-
"hm... interesting. what are some things you like and don't like?" Well, I really do love doing what I do best, which is capturing pokemon. I also really enjoy working, as it makes me feel useful. Despite how exciting it gets when Gold is around, I love going on adventures and travelling to new places and seeing new pokemon that I haven't caught before. Uh... other favorite things are star-shaped accessories. You'll see that all my pokemon have a star marking somewhere. I also like young children.
Although it is a big part of capturing pokemon, I don't enjoy just straight up fighting and violence, although I understand that often times I will have to fight too. But I like competition too. I don't like losing, so that makes me feel really competitive, and a bit jealous when others are better than me in different sorts of things. I don't like it when people are rude to me, or when others underestimate me. I also hate it when people can't make up their minds, and make a terrible decision without a care..."
"what are some fears and goals you've developed over the years?" I just can't imagine how terrible it would be if I lost my abilities in capturing pokemon again like that time back before I met Gold and Silver... Argh, I was such a weakling then... But not now, and that's why I can't let that happen anymore. Other things, well, I'm afraid of letting my weaknesses hurt the people I love, or aid those who claim to be evil. I still can't get over my regret when Archer told me that me trying to capture Arceus had aided Team Rocket. OTL -depression- And uh, I don't want to ever lose Gold nor let our relationship break. :'c
Uh, well, my goals would be, of course, to capture every species of pokemon in the national dex. No, I've not finished that yet, even in the past five years. OTL. I also wish to become a stronger person so that my fears will never come true. Yeah, that's what my goals are. -nods-
"got any quirks? and we all have some habits - what are your's?" Habits? Quirks? Umm, does Gold telling me I'm too overly serious and hardworking count as one? I can't really help it, it's just my nature. I've got to work or else I feel pretty useless. OTL. Other habits, well for a quirk, I have a pattern of ending all my pokemon's nicknames in an "ee" sound, and they all have star-shaped accessories and markings. Even my newest pokemon, Joltee, has star-shaped spikes on the fur on its rear.
THE HISTORY" should have overlapped..." "now onto more... personal things. mind telling me who your parents were? any siblings?" My parents still live at my home back in Johto. That reminds me, I haven't contacted them much at all in these past five years! Ah, I've forgotten all about them due to the fight against Imum!! - frantic stress-
"anyone else of importance in your life?" The first person I can definitely think of would be Gold. A child hood friend and adopted brother... We've always been together, and fought Team Imum together. Even though my parents kind of... disapproved of him after that incident. -blushes from awkward memories- Others would be Silver, a good friend that Gold and I have often allied with against our enemies. Gold and I are the few people who can understand him the most, besides Blue I guess. Then there's Professor Oak. Working for him to complete the pokedex has been great. -smiles- And then Emerald, whom I've taught some of my catching techniques to, and the person who helped us all on his mission to capture Jirachi. I'm sure Hoenn would have been doomed without Emerald's help.
"now, tell me about your past. don't leave out any details!" Well... this goes really far back... I was born in Violet City in the Johto region. Also back then was when my family adopted Gold. We were the same age. At the young age of six years, I was always getting the best grades in class, and since Gold had been denied an education for the longest time, he was having the most trouble in that subject. We were practically opposites, and with me being on the better end, I used to never let him live it down. Yeah, at first we actually hated each other, always competing in anything and everything, taking rivalry to a whole new level.
But over the next three or four years, we started to get along better. It was really good for the both of us, because what I lacked in street smarts, I made up in book smarts, while what Gold lacked in book smarts, he made up in street smarts. We eventually just called a truce and become mature enough to decide to help each other out than to continue trying to best the other, which would never happen until the world ended. Well, even then. Anyway, after that, we became very close, and together as a team, nothing could stop us.
Although even Gold doesn't really know this fact, this was the time when I had begun to develop feelings for Gold...
I had begun training to become a pokemon capture specialist long before I even met Gold, though. Back then, I was pretty good at getting on everyone's good sides, even the grumpy Professor Elm. Actually, I was the only girl he really tolerated, for I was always helping him out in his research with my pokemon capturing skills, and I could convince him to let me do almost anything I wanted or to give me anything I wanted. I was a good selfless girl, though, and I never tried to make him give me anything of his own. Well, except his Pokemon.
When I found out that the professor had three rare pokemon and was looking to use them for research purposes, I wanted nothing more than to train one of them and go on an adventure of my own like all the other kids my age. But this also seemed to be the one and only thing that the professor would not give in to. Professor Elm was so stubborn then that it took me almost an entire year to convince him to let Gold and I take his pokemon out on a journey as long as we promised to fill out his Pokedex for his research. During that nearly year-long period was when I trained extra hard to truly become a pokemon capture specialist as it was my greatest chance for convincing the professor to let me take his pokemon on a journey.
Although we had finally gotten our wish, I having a chikorita, and Gold having a cyndaquil, we had literally no clue what a "journey" consisted of. Neither of us was too terribly interested in challenging the gyms and the pokemon league, although I ended up taking on the entire job of capturing pokemon to withhold our promise to Professor Elm. I had trained myself to capture pokemon as a young child, and mastered the skill during the time before Gold and I received our starter pokemon.
While I captured pokemon for the professor, Gold eventually, having nothing better to do than to travel around the Johto region with me, ended up challenging all the gyms, and even challenging the pokemon league. But there was certainly more to the tale in the sentence above than what was said. Not long after we received our first pokemon, we soon heard that a thief had broken into Professor Elm's lab and stolen the last starter pokemon. We caught up to him, and Gold challenged him to a battle and won, but Silver still managed to get away. That was when we received the side quest of tracking down the thief and capturing him, though it soon became more of a main quest when the chase took us all over the Johto region, and pitted us all together up against Team Rocket.
We soon discovered that Silver had the same goal, to stop Team Rocket from fulfilling its evil plans, and so we put aside our differences and worked together to defeat Team Rocket. After that, life seemed to settle down again. Silver was eventually forgiven for stealing the Totodile, I resumed capturing every single non legendary pokemon in the Johto region, and Gold finished up challenging the gyms, and even won the Johto league, and Silver, well, Silver just kind of went and did his own thing. We actually don't know where Silver went during that time. Gold had an incident with his birth mom, so he was preoccupied with that after the pokemon league. Then I began to seriously think about my feelings for Gold.
Almost as if destiny had planned it, soon after, Gold confessed his feelings to me, and I told him how I felt too. This wonderful moment of my life ended very abruptly when my parents walked in on something that... well... well anyway, they didn't approve, and kicked Gold out. I wasn't really happy about it all either. I had a small fight with my parents, actually. But what worried me most was how was Gold going to survive on his own? Of course he wouldn't last long on his own. Gold had seemed mostly calm about it all, but what bothered me to no end was that he didn't even tell me where he was going! So I left the house too to follow him, all the way to the Lyeant region.
It honestly took a few more weeks than I had expected to find out where he went. Not to mention that I also had to explain to Professor Elm that, by travelling to the Lyeant region, a region inhabited by the greatest variety of pokemon in the entire world of pokemon, I would further benefit his research with pokedex entries of pokemon and legendaries alike foreign to the Johto region. I came to Lyeant and, though I caught many pokemon on the way, my primary goal was to find Gold, which I eventually did. Gold almost scared me to death when I found him with another girl, a brunette with pig-tails as anti-gravitational as my own, but to my relief, she was only a friend. Maybe I was a little bit jealous too, then, but surely I had enough reason to be! Gold can't resist the urge to flirt with a pretty girl if I'm not around to scold him!
As it turns out, Silver had gone to the Lyeant region too! We all reunited, and just in time, too, since now, in the Lyeant region, a new evil organization was brewing! Team Imum made its appearance with an explosion and the deaths and injuries of a major percentage of the population, lured together by the prospect of a pokemon trainer dance party. So the war against Imum started as abruptly as could ever be with the explosion of a bomb. We fought Team Imum for a very long time, and numerous times, it seemed like the war between the trainers of Lyeant and Team Imum could go either way. Sometimes we thought all hope was lost, and then sometimes we thought Team Imum was finished, and it would jump right back up! But the war ended in a crushing defeat for Team Imum. No one could deny that the casualties were still just as terrible.
So for the past five years, it seemed like the whole region was kind of at a stand still, taking time to slowly rebuild overtime. But what has kept Gold and myself here at the Lyeant region was other little things like working on the national pokedex, and other things. For example, rumors began to appear about legendary pokemon becoming attracted to the Lyeant region for some mysterious reason. That was enough reason to keep me here, and I guess Gold is still here for similar reasons. Silver, well, he usually goes off and does his own thing, but I've got the feeling that he also has his reasons. Something, we know all know for sure, is brewing in the Lyeant region, and all of the dex holders will soon be needed, again.
