AUGUST RUSH MONET
THE BASICS
"one line of lyrics here"
"welcoming to the stage... um, what was your name again?"
The name's August Rush Monet. Yeah, the name is punny. Har har har. *sigh* Can we just move onto the next question, please?
"well, then, hello! now, this might seem rude, but... would you mind telling me your gender?"
I have breasts, are they that hard to notice? They're not tiny, ya know... *grumbles and feels offended* (Yes, she's female xD)
"sorry about that! now, can you tell me your age? birthdate? maybe even where you were born?"
*sighs* It's fine. Some people have bad eyesight. I'm nineteen years old. My birthday is November 23rd, and I was born in Inferia Town. What's up with all the personal questions, anyways?
"i might have to get you a birthday present this year! that aside, with whom do you align yourself?"
Oh, a birthday present, you say? I do like presents. *smiles* I suppose I'm neutral, good. I follow whatever will benefit me the most. *examines fingernails*
"so what's your occupation? got any special skills?"
Truth be told, I'm a Minder.
"now, are you a canon character? or an original character?"
How insulting! Of course I'm an Original character!
THE APPEARANCE
"one line of lyrics here"
"can you tell me the shortest description of yourself as you can?"
Okay, first off, let me just tell you one thing. My physical appearance is way different than my actual appearance. I have red eyes, grey skin, dark brown hair, and a pair of horns. No, it's not my actual body. I'll get into this more in depth later.
"you got a face claim? wanna share it with the world?"
ARADIA MEGIDO, HOMESTUCK as AUGUST MONET.
"what kind of clothing do you like best?"
I like darker clothes, but I still keep fashionable. I love to wear short skirts and shorts, but won't if it's too cold. I like wearing shirts with straps instead of sleeves, you know, like spaghetti straps and tanktops. I'm really not afraid to show off my body, so occasionally you'll see me wear a bikini top around if it's hot enough outside. When it's cold I still try to wear skirts, even if I have to wear leggings. You may occasionally see me wearing a cute pair of jeans, but you'll NEVER see me wear something like sweatpants. Although I prefer skirts, I wear dresses too, sometimes.
"any defining physical traits?"
I'm the normal height for girls my age. Tall people call me short, but short people call me really tall. So I just go with medium-sized. I'm thin, but still athletic, and I actually eat unlike most really thin girls. I don't have ribs sticking out of my chest like some stupid supermodel. In fact, I do eat quite a lot, but I still stay really skinny. It's a mystery... My legs are long, but not out of proportion.
"what about the hair and the eyes?"
I wear red contacts, but my eyes are actually blue. My hair is dark brown and its wavy/curly. Half the time I can't tell which it likes to be. It's long, going past my shoulders and down my back. I make sure it looks nice. It's actually really soft. ...Wanna feel it?
THE PERSONALITY
"one line of lyrics here"
"tell me a bit about how you act."
Well, I'm overall pretty friendly, fun, optimistic, flirty, and pretty smart.
However, I tend to be very blunt, somewhat rude, a little childish, I have a dark sense of humor, and I classify everything and everyone I see.
"hm... interesting. what are some things you like and don't like?"
Likes and dislikes? Boy, this'll be fun.
I like my cosplaying, manga, anime, cute boys, keeping fashionable while working my cosplay, and shopping. I really love shopping.
Unlike most women, I tend to dislike babies and small children. Anything past about 8 years of age is okay in my book. I also dislike snobby people, not just girls in general. Men can be just as snobby, although I suppose then you would call them jocky. Well, whatever. *brushes back hair* I also dislike trainers who train big, scary Pokemon just to make themselves look tough. Sorry, but it doesn't work. Also, I've always disliked bug Pokemon. I-it's not that they creep me out or anything... *laughs uncomfortably*
"what are some fears and goals you've developed over the years?"
I'll be honest with you; I'm really afraid of the dark. I've had this fear since I was little. I can't quite remember what triggered this immense fear, but all I remember was that it changed my life. I've also have a huge fear of planes. Not heights themselves, but just planes in general. If I have to ride in a plane I sort of have a panic attack. It's not pretty.
One of my main goals is to get a team of Pokemon together that is not only strong but also beautiful. I've dreamed about it since I was little. I also want to be able to meet a nice guy. I know it sounds corny, but all of the guys I've met in the past were huge jerks. I'm hoping to be able to find that someone just for me, if you know what I mean. *blushes*
"got any quirks? and we all have some habits - what are your's?"
I've been told that I'm rather obsessive over my makeup and hair. I could be in the middle of a store and stop to fix any small smudges or mistakes. I constantly go to the bathroom to fix up my hair. I've always done it, so it seems normal to me.
THE HISTORY
"one line of lyrics here"
"now onto more... personal things. mind telling me who your parents were? any siblings?"
I'm part of a family of 6. My mom, dad, and my three siblings. I was the third child born to the family. I have two older brothers, and my little sister. My family is a pretty normal family, never having problems with each other, divorces, etc.
"anyone else of importance in your life?"
No one that I can think of at the moment. Although, I'm pretty forgetful. It's not like I have a boyfriend or anything. *blushes*
"now, tell me about your past. don't leave out any details!"
I was born to my parents on a cold November night. My mother had gone into labor early in the morning, but the process was long, and she ended up having me after the sun had set. My parents already had two children before me; two boys who were somewhat quiet and didn't get into much trouble. The whole family was overjoyed with my birth, and it somehow brought everyone closer together. Being the only girl child had its advantages. Let me tell you now, I was far from a nice, quiet child. I got into everything I could get my hands on, even at a young age. The biggest advantage I had was my cuteness. I would constantly blame things on my brothers and get away with it, because my parents believed that something so cute could never do the things I did. My mom, who was ecstatic with finally having a daughter, always dressed me up in super cute dresses and skirts. All of my baby pictures were really adorable.
When I was about 6, my mother found out that she was once again pregnant. 9 months later, my baby sister was born. At first I was excited to have a little sister, who would be able to play with all of my girl toys with me, and who could play dress-up with me. It didn't bother me that she was hogging all of my potential attention away from me, because I honestly was tired of it all. However, when my younger sister was old enough to start developing a personality, to my horror, she became a tomboy. She spent all of her playtime with my brothers or outside getting dirty, and I was left alone to put on make-up and play with my dolls. When I turned 10, however, my life took a new turn. Thanks to some of my friends, I was introduced to the world of Anime and Manga. This became my new obsession. The old, girly me was replaced with an Otaku, to sum it up. I became fascinated with a certain anime with cat-girls and decided to make a Pokemon team made out of cat-type Pokemon.
As I got old enough to earn my own money through winning battles, I used this money to begin to add to my new cosplay wardrobe. Soon I began to wear my cosplay all the time. It freaked others out, but my parents didn't have a problem with it. They thought it was cool that I was different. Although my appearance changed, my personality didn't. I still had a huge fashion sense, and still managed to keep fashionable even while wearing my cosplay. My cosplay-wearing went on for so long that it made me feel weird when I didn't wear it. Once I turned 18, I decided to hit the road with my small team of cat-like Pokemon. With a whole bunch of my wardrobe and some money from my parents (and from my secret stash of cash), I left home and set out to travel the region. A year has passed since then. I ended up joining the Minder party after a few events, and am currently doing whatever I need to do, and what I am told. I'm happy to let you know that I am still my same-old self, thank you very much. *grins*
