"Be good to yourself when" 'Nobody else will' "You're walkin' on high wire" Caught in the cross fire NAME"Ugh, it's so dark. I can barely see anything." Crystal whined, rubbing her arms since it was also a bit chilly down here. "I can't believe I forgot to bring a Pokemon that knows Flash." Crystal wasn't usually forgetful like this, but being near a person she cared for in this way could do things to a girl's bubbly mind. They hadn't gone too far in before the light had dimmed down to almost nothing. She usually kept all her thoughts to herself when she was alone, so having someone to chatter all out to was refreshing. She felt like she had so much she wanted to talk to him about and tell him. In the darkness, she could just barely see Gold's silhouette, and she regretted not looking at his face more often earlier when it was lighter. Pokemon and work could easily distract her from life, but probably the one of few things that could distract her from her work was Gold, either because he was so good at being deliberately distracting, or because she was too easily distracted by his constant energy and wild personality. She couldn't boast about being able to hold her composure easily like Silver or Green, so she was also grateful for the darkness that her reddening face was hidden when she accidentally let her thoughts trail to that subject. Snapping herself back to the mission at hand which she had been so determined to accomplish in the first place, she turned to Gold and asked, "By any chance, do you have any pokemon that can use Flash? Or maybe Explotaro's flames could give us a bit of light? Unlike a typhlosion, Arckee doesn't have any externally lit parts on his body." She sort of almost wondered if she were to expect a sharp complain from Gold that she was being too bossy, which was a common thing to hear. But this time, it was she who was asking Gold a favor, instead of Gold fooling around and needing someone to tell him what to do. She had dragged him all the way down here for her own interests, after all.
o o c || okays I started this thread because I really wanted to start threading them finally x'D and TBE needs posts and activity <3 and mangaquest needs some too <3 feel free to tell me if you'd like to change the plot any, Night ^^
So here is what I thought could be the plot. Gold and Crystal meet up and have a little reunion, and Crystal has been trying to study and research Diglett at that time, so Gold comes along to help? (maybe complaining about it and wanting to rather just spend time with Crystal, or willingly, whichever you want, or anything else you want XD) and so they soon find a Diglett and try to capture it, because the one Crystal caught already was evolved into a Dugtrio and uses Earthquake too much and is uncooperative, making it hard to study, and Red's diglett is extremely unfriendly because it spends 99% of its time in Red's PC? XD After battling and capturing it, they take it back to where Crystal's staying so she can being studying it right away. Crystal is all excited and enthusiastic about making the biggest discover ever about what Diglett's feet actually look like, but Gold happens to pick it up off the ground, and the brown bumps that surround it are it's feet. x'D Afterwards, they could just hang out and stuff, or tease/argue. ^^ Feel free to ask about plot changes! c: This was just my idea based on my little sketch of my idea of Gold and Crystal discovering that ;3 w o r d s || 348 t a g s || Gold~~ if anyone wants to join, feel free to contact us and plot something out! ^^

"Memories mend me" 'N one's seen my share.' "Things I can't repair" I'll break it to you.
"I can't see a foot in front of my face!" Gold grumbled, blinking his eyes a few times to try and make them work better in the dark. Unfortunately, it didn't help. He chuckled when Crystal told him that she forgot to bring a Pokemon that knew Flash. It wasn't like her to forget things, especially since she was the one who drug him down here in the first place! As they continued walking, it continued to get darker. Soon enough Gold could hardly see his own hand in front of his face. He looked at where Crystal was walking, and although he could barely see where she was he knew she was still there. It seemed like forever since they last saw each other, and he didn't want to lose sight of her. The black-haired trainer snorted at himself. He felt like some sort of possessive weirdo. An awkward silence drug on as they continued on into the dark, and Gold wondered what Crys was thinking about. She usually didn't stay quiet for this long.
After a few moments Crystal turned to him and asked if he had brought along any Pokemon that knew Flash. He thought for a moment, but then shook his head. "Nope. Not any that are with me, anyways." He sighed. Crystal suggested sending out Explotaro so his flames could at least give them a little light. "Sure thing! It's better than having no light." He told the blue-haired girl, and reached into a pocket for Explotaro's Pokeball. As soon as the Typhlosion was released, the cave around the two dex holders lit up. The Pokemon stretched a little bit and looked around. Even if it wasn't as bright as using flash, they could actually see where they were going now. "Alright! Now we can actually see what we're doing." He said. After finally meeting up with Crys again, Gold discovered that she had been researching Diglett recently. She wanted to study one, and needed to go off into the Tunnels of Yami to look for one, asking Gold to come along. Normally he would've declined something like this, but he didn't want their reunion to end so soon. He really wanted to spend more time with Crystal. So, with only minimal complaining, he followed her to help with her search. Looking over at Crystal, and actually being able to see her now, he saw that she was rubbing at her arms. Was she cold? However, her face was flushed. His brain hurt from thinking about it too hard, and instead he shrugged and looked at her. "Are you cold? You can wear my jacket if ya want." He told Crystal, his face flushing a little. Offering his coat kinda seemed like something a gentleman would do, but he just wanted to make sure she wasn't gonna get sick or something. "O-or you could just get closer to Explotaro! He's pretty warm." Gold quickly added, scratching at his head awkwardly.
Notes;; I really like your idea, Shizu! I'll follow along with your idea, since you came up with the thread! Hurray for posting and Mangaquest! xD

"Be good to yourself when" 'Nobody else will' "You're walkin' on high wire" Caught in the cross fire MEGAREEMegaree used Frenzyplant. DOGEEARMALDEEArmaldee used False Swipe. Crystal smiled gratefully and patted Explotarou's nose softly. "Thank you for the light, Explotarou." The light from the volcano pokemon created deep shadows, but was more than enough to light up their surroundings and give the day time land dwellers an idea of their surroundings. "Diglett are usually very shy and don't come up from the ground very often for their safety, but if we venture into their territory, some might get defensive over their territory." Crystal explained like a real pokemon professor as if she were reading it right off an encyclopedia, though she was reading from nothing but her mind. She was so focused on the imminent study that she had even forgotten to expect a remark from Gold about her acting like a nerd or being too serious about it all. She fit the description of an enthusiastic pokemon nerd easily, though her version was that of a nerd who got her "serious" on when the time came to study pokemon. Crystal was most delighted whenever she showed her results to Professor Oak and was praised for her work. That was the biggest drive behind her excitement for pokemon related paper work. Something that made her most happy today though was that Gold was with her to keep her company. She had always done this alone since she had come to the Lyeant region five years ago and only communicated with Professor Oak and Professor Elm over PC video calls. Having Gold willingly accompany her made her happier than she had been in a long, long time, and she was grateful to him for it beyond words. Since they hadn't seen each other in so long, Crystal had almost been afraid that their previously established relationship was weakening, and felt a bit shy from time to time throughout this whole day since the start, when he had called and said he was visiting. Gold must have noticed her rubbing her arms because he asked if she was cold, and then offered his jacket. Crystal knew that he just wore a shirt underneath his red sweatshirt. Hesitating over her choice of words as well as feeling bombarded by the urge to be the selfless one, she smiled sheepishly, replying as she pointed to her own white jacket, "I-I'm alright. This jacket is more than enough to keep me warm! Besides, won't you be cold without your jacket?" It wasn't like she knew exactly what he wore underneath his jacket.... It was just that she assumed he wore a shirt underneath it. Crystal quickly dismissed those thoughts that were continuing down a path she didn't feel comfortable with. But that was another thing -- she was wearing the old attire she always wore back when they defeated the Masked Man, Price, instead of her long white lab coat which she religiously wore every time she went to work. Still, without saying anything, she subtley walked nearer to Explotaro. They hadn't stopped walking, but their pace had slowed down considerably. Crystal didn't have a hard time of focusing her mind totally on the mission once more. She pulled out a pokeball and released her Meganium. Megaree's first priority upon getting out was to greet Explotaro with gleeful cries and nuzzles that quickly ended up in him getting burns all over his head before Crystal stopped him and got him under control, but only after he had bounced over to Gold and attempted to lick the boy affectionately on the face. "Megaree, use--Megaree! Er, you're going to get burnt! M--See, you burnt yourself! Now--Hey, Mega, what are you--Oh you're saying hi to Gold--oh...! Er, sorry about that, Gold. Megaree is too full of energy because he hasn't gotten to get out and do a lot lately." Crystal probably looked pretty ridiculous trying to control her crazy green dinosaur, and she felt that way too. That she had shown this side of herself in front of Gold made her feel even more nerve wracked. She tried to cover up her embarrassment by lowering her gaze and hiding her reddening face underneath the shadow of her bangs and continuing what she had planned to do from the beginning. "I'm going to try to seek one out with Megaree's frenzyplant. Megaree, use Frenzyplant, but don't go too deep." Dirsturbing the earth too deeply was known to cause problems not only for the pokemon, but also for the geographical structure of the maze-like tunnels. They hadn't gone in too far though that they couldn't easily get back out. Crystal had brought with her a clipboard on which she planned to take notes. The excited dinosaur was happy to oblige, and with a cry of delight, he plunged his roots into the hard, worn earth easily, making the ground ripple and roll like waves in an ocean. Aside from a lot of earthy sound effects which echoed off the walls of the tunnels and made normal speaking impossible to hear, they didn't hear anything out of the ordinary. But in the few seconds that Megaree had begun feeling around the earth with his roots for the elusive pokemon, his facial expression suddenly changed, and he began to focus his roots in guiding a something towards the surface. The next moment, a brown pokemon appeared, rocketing from the ground on a wave of broken earth, making soft, frantic cries. With lightning fast reflexes, Crystal shot out her Watchog from her pokeball, and the pokemon used Mean Look on the Diglett before it came down again on top of the pile of earth, half covered in dirt but unable to flee, as if the "fight" in "fight or flight" was no longer an instinctual option. The diglett was now prepared to fight. With experienced hands, Crystal threw out her Armaldo next, and the Armaldo immediately landed a powerful False Swipe on the target, and the Diglett bent over, barely conscious. Then, with a combination of grace and power, Crystal scored a bull's eye with a Dusk Ball. After rocking back and forth a few times, the green and black pokeball clicked and sealed shut.
