THE BASICS

The name's Gold Amble Demien! I don't really have any nicknames.
"well, then, hello! now, this might seem rude, but... would you mind telling me your gender?"
I'm male, obviously. *laughs*
"sorry about that! now, can you tell me your age? birthdate? maybe even where you were born?"
Man, how time flies! I'm twenty-one! I was born on the 20th of December. My hometown is New Bark. You know, in Johto.
"i might have to get you a birthday present this year! that aside, with whom do you align yourself?"
I'd have to say I'm lawful, good.
"so what's your occupation? got any special skills?"
I'm a trainer. Although, I have to say I've saved the world a time or two. *smirks*

Short appearance, eh? Well, I'm a black-haired male with golden eyes.

"what kind of clothing do you like best?"
I usually wear the same type of clothing, though it's not always the exact same pair or clothes like some people think. *sigh* I've got my black shirt, my red and white jacket, my gold and black shortsthey're comfy and easy to wear! *shot*, my red and black sneakers, and of course my trademark yellow and black hat, which is almost always turned backwards. You won't usually catch me wearing anything else, although it's nice to wear something different every once in a while.
"any defining physical traits?"
I'd have to say my physical stature is pretty athletic! I spend most of my time outdoorsand gambling *shot again*so I'm really active! I usually tend to run places instead of walking like a normal person. Most people I know are usually surprised I'm not overweight considering how much I eat. I stand about 5'10, so I guess I'm kinda tall, and my legs are pretty long.
"what about the hair and the eyes?"
My hair is pitch-black in color, and isn't really short but not long either. My hair sticks out on the front of my head through my hat, which people say looks weird. I like it. *grumbles* My eyes are a golden color.
THE PERSONALITY

I've always had this sense of adventure ever since I was little, so I guess you could say I'm adventurous. I will always help a person or Pokemon in need, so I'm pretty brave. I hate evil people, so I'd say I have a pretty strong sense of justice. I know how to crack a pretty good joke and make people smile, so I guess I'm pretty fun. I'm always there in times of need for my friends and family in need, so I'm very loyal!
However, people often tell me that I'm pretty obnoxious, loud, and annoying. I'd say they obviously don't know what they're talking about, so you could say that I'm kind of judgmental. I get mad pretty easily, so I guess I've a pretty short temper.
"hm... interesting. what are some things you like and don't like?"
Things I don't and do like? Well, I like flirting with girls, winning battles, showing off, gambling (lol), and traveling!
I don't like being hungry, it's depressing when girls ignore me, people who use their Pokemon as tools instead of friends, getting lost, or when people look down on me.
"what are some fears and goals you've developed over the years?"
I fear losing those that are close to me. Just the thought of that makes me real depressed. For some reason I've always been afraid of really deep water, like the ocean. I'm also afraid of my own Pokemon turning against me. It's like having your best friend beat the crap outta you, ya know?
One of my goals is to become a worldwide known trainer. I want to be so great that people will tell stories of me to their grandchildren, or something like that! I also want to catch a whole bunch of Pokemon, too. Don't tell Crys that, though, of she'll get competitive. *laughs*
"got any quirks? and we all have some habits - what are your's?"
I've got this thing with gambling. It's like impossible for me to stop. People tell me it's an addiction, but like they'd know anything! (it's totally an addiction xD)
THE HISTORY

"now onto more... personal things. mind telling me who your parents were? any siblings?"
My adopted family consists of my mom, Claudia, my dad, Kolton, and my kinda-sister Crystal. I got my last name from them. My birth mother, whose name was Kathleen, dropped me off to fend for myself when I was 6. She's dead now, though. I've been told my real father's name was Albon, but I never met him. I don't really remember much from before the Demien's took me in.
"anyone else of importance in your life?"
Silver's not a relative, but he's a pretty good buddy of mine! He might not think so, but it's true~
"now, tell me about your past. don't leave out any details!"
I was born to two teenage kids who had, apparently, not known a thing about parenting. My real dad left my birth mom after finding out that she was pregnant, and she was forced to raise me by herself. According to her, she did some pretty terrible things to me when I was little. I was abused, so to say, and she wasted no time telling me that she had never wanted me. I never went to school because she didn't want to pay for it, and kept me a secret for a pretty long time.
When I was about 6 my mom decided that she couldn't take care of me anymore and dropped my off in New Bark Town on a day of pouring rain. I guess I wandered around there for a couple days, and here's when I actually start to remember things. Dad, er, I guess Kolten, found me on the side of the street and decided he would try and take me back to my mom. But trust me, that was the last place I wanted to go. But of course, she never showed up. Figures. Then it was decided that I would go and stay with the Demiens for only a little while. However, that little while pretty much turned into forever. Their cozy little house was like heaven to me. Instead of the hatred I had received before, those people there loved me. It was definitely a place worthy of actually being called "home." They officially adopted me, and my name was officially changed to Gold Amble Demien. I always took pride in telling others my name. However, my new adopted sister always seemed to get on my nerves. That's right, Crystal was my enemy at that time. She had always seemed like a goody-two-shoes, and always took a chance to rub her smartness in my face. It was pretty annoying. We pretty much hated each other at first, however hard that is to admit now. However, after seeing how we made a good team, we eventually made a truce. Now we were friends, like two peas in a pod. Then things started to get weird.
Crystal had always had this way with words that got her whatever she wanted, and made people like her. It's still there to this day. That's how we managed to get our very first Pokemon from Professor Elm, who had been collecting some pretty rare Pokemon. We got our Pokemon from him, mine being a Cyndaquil and hers being a Chikorita. The professor even gave us each a Pokedex, which me and Crys were supposed to fill out. So, we set out on our very first journey. It was then that we met Silver. He had stolen Professor Elm's last rare starter Pokemon, which was a Totodile. I, of course, immediately challenged him to a battle and won. *smirks* However, the "thief" managed to get away, so me and Crys decided to go searching for him. Eventually we got sidetracked between the Pokemon League and Team Rocket. While Crys started catching as many Pokemon as she could, I started taking on gym leaders and collecting gym badges. Then we discovered that Silver was on the same mission as us: to bring down Team Rocket for good. We put aside our differences and put an end to Team Rocket. I went on to compete in the Pokemon League, and win, while Crys became the first person to completely fill the whole Johto Pokedex. As for Silver, we didn't really know where he went for a while.
After all this went down, life pretty much went back to normal for us. Then there was the incident with my birth mom. I was called in to a hospital one day, and was notified that my real mother was on her last legs in battling with a deadly disease. They had called me in because I was her only blood-relative left. I was really angry with her, and figured I would confront her about all of the years of torture and abuse that the woman had put me through. But my plans backfired when she had said one simple thing to me: "I'm sorry." Those two simple words caused me to break down, and she confessed to me that she had watched me grow from the sidelines, cheering me on but knowing that I would never forgive her for the selfish and terrible things she had done when I was little. Even though I had resented her to my very limit, all of those feeling went down the toilet when I watched this woman who had given birth to me live her last days, so weak she could hardly hold her own head up. It was the day of her death that I had told her a sentence that I had never thought I would ever tell her. "I love you." She had cried then, tears streaking down her frail face, and a couple hours later I was informed that she had passed away. I had felt like some sort of weight had been lifted off of my shoulders then.
Then, I told Crys how I really felt about her. I had never really seen her as a sister, and saw her as a best friend who would always be there. I had figured that my feelings would be one-sided, but Crystal told me she had felt the exact same way. It was then that Mr. and Mrs. Demien decided that I should "get out on my own" so to say, after catching me and Crys kissing. *cough* So, I decided to travel to the Lyeant region without telling Crys. Big mistake.
After traveling to Lyeant and meeting this girl named Lyra, Crystal finally caught up to me and gave me a big talking-to. That wasn't much fun, especially to the fact that Crys thought that Lyra was my girlfriend or something. She was only a friend, and that took a lot of explaining before she grew to trust the brunette. Then we all eventually met back up with Silver, who had come to the Lyeant region without even knowing we were there. That was a pretty cool reunion, if I do say so myself.
During the 5 years, I decided to explore more of the Lyeant region, going to the furthermost corners of the region and seeing all the sights that were there to be seen. I still know that there's lots of stuff to be discovered.

It was hardly sunrise, and yet he was awake. In fact, he hadn't even slept the night before. Only now was he beginning to feel a little tired, although nobody else would be able to tell. The morning was chilly, and the tall man making his way towards Demon Lake could see his breath billowing in front of him. With each breath he took, the air seemed to become more energizing. That is, if he could be energized in this weather. Felix had been sent out on a mission by his superiors the night before, which didn't surprise him since they knew that he was a very good night traveler. Only those higher in rank than him new about him being a Gijinka, and so they always chose the missions that best suited his style. In this case, he was being sent out to look for a runaway grunt and capture him. Team Imum was known for their strict policies, and this was one of the most serious: never, on any circumstance, should any member of Imum leave without permission. And everyone knew that no one was allowed to leave. Once a member joined they had to vow to stay with the Team, and the consequences were fatal for runaway members. Felix honestly didn't see the point in going after runaway grunts. They would almost always resist to come back, and the prices they paid for it were almost always painful in some way. The reason that he alone was sent on this mission was really quite simple. The runaway grunt had been evading every other patrol, or person, sent to capture him, and the higher-ups decided that they would have to send out someone in a higher rank to take care of it. Thick black boots squished down the damp grass as the black and white-haired male searched the edge of the lake. The Gijinka had followed reports of a weak-looking man in this general area, and had came up to the conclusion that he was right on the grunt's heels. Upon reaching the edge of Demon's Lake, the smell of water and fish hit the man like a ton of bricks. In fact, it disgusted him. His nose was particularly sensitive, and the smell made him want to vomit. The rising sun shone into his blood-red eyes, and Felix spotted a figure across the lake after he covered the sun from his eyes with his hand. The figure looked tired, very tired in fact, and was sitting on the edge of a dock, its feet dangling into the water. This was his chance. Skirting the edge of the lake, keeping careful not to be seen, the black and white-haired man managed to get to the other side of the lake and behind the man. He knew it was the grunt he was looking for. It was obvious that he had been traveling for a very long time. Felix's white cloak fluttered behind him as he strode up to the lonely man on the dock, his face spreading into an evil smirk. Stopping at the beginning of the wooden dock, the man crossed his arms, the leather of his black gloves reflecting the orange-red sunrise. "Well, well, well. Look what we have here." He began, a frown spreading on his face. "It's the lonely grunt who thought he could desert his Team. What a shame he didn't have common sense just to kill himself." The man sneered, a smirk crossing his mouth. "You do know what happens to run-away members, don't you?" He finished, the smirk on his face changing to an evil grin. Oh, this was going to be interesting.
