Five years ago, a criminal organization going by the name Team Imum wrecked chaos across the land, damaging cities and killing thousands of citizens. In the wake of their demise, however, life in the Lyeant region has never been better. Scientific breakthroughs are tumbling in on almost a monthly basis, new Pokemon evolutions are on the verge of being discovered, and the economy has never been better. The region isn't as swell as it may seem on the surface, however; with a chasm forming between two prominent political parties and the disappearance of the world's mightiest Pokemon, things may just take another turn for the worst.

Hello, hello, and welcome to To Bitter Endings, a Pokemon roleplay taking place in the fictional Lyeant region! We are a rather lax forum, roleplay being on the verge of sandbox with how freeform most everything is, and we're happy to accept new and old members onto the site. Irisa's gym is a sight of beauty itself, with it's glass dome arena, and open floor aquatic battlefield reveling the dazzling wonders of coral reefs below the water's skin. The coral reef is the arena in itself for the Pokemon. After entering a small room there is a door leading to a staircase down to the arena, the faint sound of a retro tune is playing in the background. Open the door and challenge the Gym Leader for the coveted Waterfall Badge.
