"Hmpf...She is a Gijjinka. I know it." Riley was livid. She was made a fool by some pokemon. Well, not just any pokemon, but a Mew. Time to try a new approach. She tried to be sneaky and apologize, act like she was wrong, but she wasn't. Riley knew. Riley knew that this person--pokemon--was lying to her. Riley knew she was right. Riley didn't know how to bust this pokemon, though.
Riley was in the village for the Ormy territories, where the crap that ruined Riley's reputation went down. She went here, trying to get some food and rest. Riley was settled the next day, ready tyo forget everything that happened when she found another gijinka. This person had horns and exuded pokemon, if...one could do that. Well, they're gijinkas, so they must!
Riley tackled the girl to the ground, jumping on her andshouting, "What pokemon are you? Huh? What pokemon?" Anger had obviously erupted from last night. She quickly got off of the person, then asked "Are you a gijinka? Tell me. I know you things exist."
Riley stared at the person, she was very serious, and she gave a look of pure hatred at the being in front of her. Did she hurt the girl: maybe. Did she hurt herself: yes. Did she care: hell no. Nothing mattered but uncovering this gijinka, then Marley Elena Walace, or MEW.

"when you can't give no more" they want it all, but you gotta say no "i'm turnin' off the noise" that makes me crazy
August had honestly just been minding her own business. This little village was very welcoming and cute, and it felt nice for the girl to be here. She hadn't come across a place like "home" for a long time. Although there wasn't all that much to see here, the girl felt the need to explore around the village. Everything was going just fine. The weather was nice, the people were friendly, and she was fit to do whatever she pleased. With her Glameow by her side, the cosplay-obsessed female casually strolled around, looking at anything she could get her eyes on. Pausing at a window that she could see her reflection in, August felt the need to touch up on her makeup. After the final touches, she fluffed up her hair a little bit, fixed her horns, looked down at Glameow, who seemed pleased with her own reflection, and continued on her merry way.
After a few minutes of walking again, she felt the need to release her other Pokemon from their Pokeballs. She stood and watched Glameow, Espeon and Persian run around and play, a smile on her face. Cat-type Pokemon always brought a smile to her face. And not many things did that, she admitted to herself. Suddenly, out of nowhere, August heard someone running towards her. She went to turn around and see what was going on, only to be tackled to the ground. Time seemed to be going slow as she fell to the concrete. Upon impact, August's head bounced off of the sidewalk, causing her to gasp in pain, her horns falling off in the process. The brunette looked up in shock at the other brunette on top of her, her blue eyes on fire. She shouted at her about being a Pokemon. What? A Pokemon? How, in Arceus' name could she be a Pokemon? The girl then proceeded to get off of her, and looked down at her and asked if she was a... Gijinka? What the heck did that mean? August sat up and gasped in pain again, holding the back of her head. She wasn't sure if she was bleeding, but it sure did hurt. The girl in front of her gave her a look of pure hatred. What had she done? The brunette was suddenly aware of her Pokemon around her, who were bristling and snarling at the girl in front of her. August held out a hand to her Pokemon, so they wouldn't attack, and looked up at the girl in rage. "Okay, first off," She practically snarled, "I am NOT a Pokemon. Can't you tell that I'm a cosplayer? Have you never seen someone dressed up like this, like those Pokefreaks?" She hissed through her teeth, beginning to stand up. "And second off, what the hell is a Gijinka, and why are you so pissed about all of this?" She shouted once she stood up, crossing her arms in anger. She wouldn't hit her unless it was absolutely necessary, but right now her temper was flaring.

Fools. Every mortal was a fool. They must have been, after all, seeing all of the idiotic things they had done. How shameful that she'd fallen from the good fortune of Arceus in a feeble attempt to protect them all in his rage. If she had had any smidgen of sense back in those times, she would have stayed in Sinnoh with him and watched as he burned every human to the ground. They deserved it, she was beginning to find. They deserved it. And if she hadn't protested his rapture of sorts, perhaps they would all still know where he was and she would be with her friend once more after centuries of being apart. All in all, everything was almost her fault. If she'd let him kill everyone, they would be saved from the evil of their own kind. The destruction in Lyeant would not have happened and the land would be as pure as it had been when first discovered. However, the most prominent fix she could see at the moment was one she was baring witness to: the not-so-lovely Ms Riley Orsus would not be alive and would not be making her life miserable. Of course, wasn't she also to blame for this pathetic slip up? If she'd been careful to watch her words better, or watched them to make sure they hadn't set Ormy Forest on fire, maybe there wouldn't have been any suspicion drawn. The only good news in this situation was that the only suspicions were drawn toward her, not any of the other legendaries and especially not Arceus' untimely disappearance. And, goodness knew she could handle the situation better than a lot of the others. Some were too weak or too trusting. Some let their anger get in front of their concious. But her? She could stay level headed for the most part, and even when things got violent, she was skillful enough to crush a person's skull and leave no evidence for the police afterward.
But that didn't mean she still wasn't angry at herself. Marley had slipped up again and, while “no person was perfect”, legendary Pokemon included, that would never stop her from hating herself for each and every mistake she did and was aware of, even long after she had earned redemption through on set of means or another. Even decades after Riley's death, she would always look back and hate herself that much more for being stupid enough to let things slip just enough for a more intelligent human to catch onto what was going on. Not that her blatant use of her powers with an audience made things any better, but at the time, the coordinator was so convinced it was all some mind trick, she hadn't thought anything of it at the time. Funny how a simple joke was what pulled all the strings together and led to the correct guess that she was, in fact, Mew. And even despite the apologies, she was a psychic-type Pokemon. She could read minds, albeit have much more difficulty at it than a lot of others. However, just the small feelings and thoughts she picked up from the other's mind told her that she was, in fact, not sorry. And this was why she may or may not have followed the brunette back to the place where this whole thing had begun, if only to watch her and call her out if she did anything particularly stupid. And it was a good thing, too. Because something particularly stupid was about to go down.
It was a well-known fact that the eastern sections of the Ormy Plains were prone to be struck with bad weather ranging anywhere from tiny rainstorms to full out thunderstorms and tornadoes. Few times did anything but a little rain escape that territory, however, to sprinkle out into the rest of the plains, the forest, or the village, but it wasn't too much of a surprise when it did. And, while it wasn't raining now, it had been through a good part of the morning, and she figured that Kyogre would be working their magic sometime later in the afternoon again. Aside from a few rain showers, however, the weather was generally being quite nice to them that day. A bit on the chilly side, but she was more used to Kanto's slightly warmer temperature averages. At least, in the areas that she tended to hang around. And even then the change wasn't enough to really bother her. At the moment, she was exhausting perhaps a bit too much power in her attempt to keep up the appearance of a Kecleon, a Pokemon who could blend into its surroundings perfectly save for the red stripe across its stomach. However, she was smart and managed to keep that hidden, as well, guessing as she hadn't gotten a single strange look or picked up any suspicious thoughts. She wouldn't be able to keep up the shape forever, though, so she had to come up with a backup plan for following Riley around should the move wear off. However, the move became the least of her worries when the person she was potentially stalking froze, supposedly noticing something mysterious, and then running forward to tackle a girl with curved horns and wings. … That was strange. That didn't look like any Pokemon she'd ever seen, which meant that it couldn't be a gijink-
“What Pokemon are you? Huh? What Pokemon?” Oh goodness. She nearly broke the attack right there to pry one brunette off the other, but she managed to get up on her own. “Are you a gijinka? Tell me. I know you things exist.” This was embarrassing just to watch, and the only relation she had to this girl was a slight nemesis thing going on. However, curious as to how the obviously injured stranger would react – just as she thought, just a costume; those horns didn't stay on her head long. They were very pretty, though. The pinkette could see why she would wear them – she continued to stay in hiding. “Okay, first off, I am not a Pokemon. Can't you tell that I'm a cosplayer? Have you never seen someone dressed up like this? Like those Poke'freaks? And second off, what the heck is a gijinka and why are you so ticked about all of this?” That was actually a good question. It did the legendary justice to know that her secret was getting under her little “friend's” skin so much, enough that she practically threw a hissy fit at the mere sight of someone who could have been part Pokemon. Not that she was happy people were getting hurt, but watching the consequences of people getting hurt were going to be amusing.
Marley almost transformed back into her typical form right then, but thought it'd be more entertaining to watch how this unfolded just a little longer.

Riley stared, with hatred subsiding, at the person in front of her. She quickly grabbed her and set her down, while she looked at the back of her head. Riley didn't know what to say, so she kept to herself for a bit. Riley looked around, hoping no one saw. They were a bit alone, and that made her happy. Riley looked at the girl's head--it was not bleeding, but she did have a tiny bump. Riley looked at the girl, put her finger in front of her. She moved it and waved it about. The girl followed along, like any person would. "You're fine. Next time don't look like a--don't look like you want to be knocked down. And don't worry. Don't worry 'bout it, babe!" Riley went through about three different emotions in those short sentences. She tried to throw off the girl who was still a bit hurt, it seemed.
"Um, I have to go. I....need to find someone." Riley knew she made a fool of herself, but she still needed to go. She didn't particularly need to go anywhere, but she just needed to get the hell out of there. Riley turned the corner, hoping the girl was not following her. She reached a bench and sat down. She took a few deep breaths, hoping she could concentrate and calm down. An influx of emotions welled up for no reason. Actually this was for a reason. Riley could control her emotions with absolute power, but not when she was around Marley. She knew how to get in sticky situations and stay cool, which is why she was deadly.
This wasn't the case when she was around Marley, which made Riley think of how strong a pokemon Mew really was. A psychic type, yes, but was mew really that strong? She didn't know. She heard some rustling, and quickly shot up. She looked around, staring into every crevice she could see. (Could she be following me?) Just then, Riley was surprised when she saw the cosplayer. "Yes?"
