[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true]LYRA CASTIEL It was quiet. The first thing to be noticed was there was no wind. Well, perhaps there was the slightest of a breeze, but overall, there was no flow of air to tickle the earth, vibrate the leaves of the trees, create movement in the water. It was as if everything was paused in time. The sun was shining. It had been shining without any major interruption by storm clouds in days. And yet, the thin wisps of unsaturated gray clouds were painted across the pale blue sky, making everything look more dull than it should have. The weather was a bit colder than it should have been for this time of the season, perhaps even on the verge of chilly, but with the right clothing, it shouldn't have been much of a problem. All in all, it was a very bland day. Nothing exciting in the weather forecast, everything just another thing to glance at and forget. But, most of all, everything was quiet. Silent, almost. Save for the sound of shoes dusting against overgrown grass and exposed dirt. Contrasting to the expanse of half dead grass, dirt, and the open sky was a flash of red, white, and blue. An outfit that could be almost patriotic, has they been the colors for any of the regions: which they weren't. Donning said colors was a lone stranger, Marill in tow and grumbling by her side. They said little to nothing for the longest time, perhaps one sneezing in the dust or apologizing for bumping into the other. But, even then, in the silence of the world, even just their footsteps providing all the sound to prove that time was still flowing right in this area. Lyra wasn't exactly sure what she was doing on Castaway Isle, so, so far from home and with little ambition to drag here there. It was practically empty twenty-four, seven. After all, it held little significance and only particularly hopeful Pokemon collectors made a point of visiting in hopes of catching a Pokemon unobtainable anywhere else. The region was mostly dominated by water-types, after all, guessing as many larger points of significance were near the ocean's edge or revolved around some sort of body of water. However, rumor had it that every Pokemon know to man - legendaries excluded, of course - could be find and captured here. If you could find them, that was. Pokemon showed up rarely here, after all. A sort of give in take thing, you could consider it: you can find any Pokemon... if you can find them at all. But the catching of said Pocket Monsters was the last thing on her mind that day. She wasn't even a trainer, and didn't really imagine she'd need anything outside of her team of four. Maybe she was just there for site-seeing? Not that there was anything really worth looking at... " Harmony, Harmony, why are we here again...?" the brunette grumbled, slouching a bit and dragging her feet as they went. The Marill shot her an irritated look - just like old times, she thought, but both of their extreme personalities had been smoothed out around the edges over the years - as if to say "because you dragged us here, moron". Actually, she'd gotten so good at reading the water-type's expression, she was pretty sure that was exactly what she was saying. Of course, this didn't invoke anger, irritation, or anything else in the breeder. It was just the way her starter acted. Actually, it drew a loud laugh from her vocal cords and she happily patted the creature on the head. " You're really funny sometimes, ya' know?" ( Possitively hilarious,) it grumbled. Not that she could understand anyway. " Ya' know, they say you can find any Pokemon ya' want here. Fully evolved, not fully evolved, super common, super rare... I mean, chances of us findin' one are kinda small, but what if we run into, like, a Nidoking or somethin'? Ya' think you can protect us?" Another laugh. Just trying to imagine the Marill standing up against something as massive as a Pokemon as that was humourous. I could happen, if they ran into one and it egged the fiesty Pokemon on, but there was no way in heck they'd be getting out alive unless they had a miracle and used every single one of her party. ... Or ran. Running was nice. " ... 'Course, not like we'll run into anythin' anyway."

The soft green grass stuck up high hiding various colored animals. Charmander was a brightly colored Orange, yet the grass was thick enough to hide him from various distances. You would have to at least come 4 meters close to even notice him slightly with his smaller height. The open area gave him plenty of room to rest without any interruption too! The area however didn't suit him. This was where he had run off to, cold, afraid, homeless, and bitter. This Charmander was rough and tough, he had been through quite a bit, which reflected partially on his personality. "Chaaar~" A low yawn came out of the Charmander's mouth, his pearly whites showing as his tounge even flexed its muscles to awake. He got up, the grass shifted creating a tiny disturbance.
The Charmander's tail's flame had been at a low glow, but since he had awoken it picked up quickly in spirit as the Charmander did the same. The sun was as bright as the fire on the Charmander's tail, full of life and spirit. The breeze was calm, but very noticeable and faint. The silence of the area was met with a small ring in the Charmander's head as it popped it's head up to look around the area. It's little eyes peered over the tops of the grass looking for anything suspicious, it was true, he was much tired to take into account for what was beside him.
A shot of pain ran through it's tail, up his spine, and reached his head. The Charmander growled angrily, his nose spitting out fire. Enough to scare whatever had stepped on his tail. "Char!" It announced it presence angrily. The Charmander, after it had stepped back. Noticed the very close Human and it's Maril. He didn't know if they were the ones who had stepped on his tail but they were so close they would notice him easily. The Charmander didn't care if they had or not, they were so close he thought they had to be the culprit! "Char!" It said angrily, as if saying. "Step away from me! Or be prepared to get burned" Yes, the Charmander enjoyed company and attention, but not with the other Pokemon around. This usually meant it was a trainer, and it wanted to capture him! It growled lowly hesitant at the thought of running like a coward, the water pokemon did have the advantage.
"Char! Char! Char!" It waved it's hands angrily spouting out fire from it's nostrils. "You come in here, step on my tail! Try to catch me off guard" He seemed to be quite angry indeed.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true]LYRA CASTIEL Lyra didn't believe in such things as jinxes. Sure, on very rare occations she'd joke and kid - "Oopsie daisy~! Better not jinx it, huh?" - but it wasn't like she actually believed that exclaiming the positive outcome would, in fact, lead to the negetive outcome within the span of a few minutes to a a few years, even. That sort of thing was just as silly as her own frivolous mind, after all. She could only bring herself to humor the idea for a few seconds before laughing it off and leaving it be. However, this didn't stop negetive outcomes from occuring, regardless of whether one "jinxed" the situation or not. Which was, sadly, what happened. If she believed in Lady Luck and her cruel hand either, she would have proclaimed her horrible relationship with said noun for all to hear. Things just never seemed to go quite right with here, did they? But we'll get to that in a few moments. She wouldn't have a reason to whine and complain - not that she did anyway, but - until a bit later. Instead, the pig-tailed breeder and her annoyed party leader continued walking, not entirely sure of what direction to head or where they were headed for, anyway. Go back the way they came and return to Neurift City's watery wonders? Tempting. Certainly had more to offer than this place. Of course, didn't the people say that there was an underground path that lead to some underground city just aorund here? That's why the place existed at all: to mark the entrance to the underground tunnels. Oh, and habour all of those hiding Pocket Monsters that were supposedly lurking around. She hadn't caught a whiff of one yet, and she was beginning to doubt she would ever no matter how long she stayed. ... But the underground city, that was sounding tempting right about then. " Harmony, Harmony, ya' wanna help find the -" Sadly, her gentle plea for assistance was cut short as something caught the attention of her chocolate eyes. With a small giggle, she said instead, " Oops! Nevermind! Guess I found it~!" Sure enough, not too far ahead was a sign placed beside what looked like an openned man hole stating loud and proud that this was the entrance to the Tunnels of Yami. Tunnels of Yummy. Pfft. Wonder if they've got any food down there... Harmony only had a few seconds to wonder what on Earth its trainer was getting at before, lo and behold, it saw as well and put two and two together. With a nod of consent from the water-type - not like she needed it anyway, but team approval was always nice, even if they didn't really get a say in the long run - the taller of the two picked up her feet and started making her way toward the suspicious looking entrance. However, she'd only gone a goof three paces before the squeak of an injured creature, resmbling the name of a Charmander, she thought, but decided that would be foolish broke through the air and caught her off guard. Upon turning around, though, she found that it was the name of a Charmander that had pounded against her ear drum. And then there was Harmony. Looking thoroughly ticked. ( Step away from me or prepared to be burned!) the Charmander, now in plain site cried. Of course, the breeder couldn't hear that. But the Marill could. ( You come in here and step on my tail? Try to catch me off guard?) However, the bitter accusations did nothing to phaze the blue-colored Pokemon. If there was a master of how to be bitter, it would be her and there was no way in heck she was going to back down from a challenge when it presented itself to her. Especially not one in her own playing field. Gritting her teeth together and putting on the most cruel of smirks she could, she shot back easily, ( Maybe you should watch where you're putting your tail, then moron. Any smart Pokemon would know to leave it in the air where it can't get stepped on. You've got no one to blame but yourself.) The entire exchange, however, completely blew over possibly the least intelligent out of their mishapen group of three. She couldn't understand a word they were saying! Not even the tone of voices or the body language could help her. Well, Harmony's, maybe - she obviously seemed to have that smug air to her again, though the tallest of the three was having troubles fathoming why - but not the mysterious fire-type that had shown up out of no where. " Did ya' make a new friend or somethin', Harmony? What'cha talkin' about down there?" And then it suddenly dawned on her. She just found an incredibly rare Pokemon in a place where Pokemon in general were rare. She was a Pokemon hunting master. She didn't like making her Pokemon fight, but the lizard-like creature looked so small and helpless - though that was probably just her imagination - and it probably wouldn't be able to put up much of a fight. She'd just get it all done quick and painlessly, catch it, brag about it to Gold, Crystal, and maybe even Will if she ran into him for a third time, and get on with her life. " Harmony, Harmony, you up for a battle? 'Cause I think I wanna see if I can catch this li'l guy~!"

Charmander wasn't too happy with the Maril and it's Trainer. (I was sleeping!) He huffed angrily at her. The Maril's voice was an inconvenience to his ears. The Charmander quickly assessed the Maril and It's Trainer. What were their strengths and weaknesses? The Charmander was very bright for and he could easily learn from slight clues. These two however, weren't common to his eye. In fact instead of learning anything, there jumbled movements and speech between the two confused him. The Maril, to Charmander, was a spineless Pokemon only able to take orders. This Pokemon didn't have to take any direction and the sound of the humans voice. "You up for a battle?" Stung in his ears. He understood the words and it meant once again he was being attacked by spineless Pokemon the same as his parents!
Charmander didn't have to wait for a call. No "Charmander use Ember!" Was needed for him to act in any way. Charmander, was at least going to get the advantage of surprise. His nose spat out fire as he raised his head. His jaw opened as fire built up quickly within a matter of seconds. When he brought his head down the fire shot out from his mouth as if he was shouting at her. The attack itself was quick fast and powerful. Charmander hoped it would hit, but he knew that it wouldn't cause much damage to the Muril. It's not very effective. Charmander only used this as a distraction. As the fire traveled down to the Muril and it's human. The fire spread to the grass charring some of the green luscious grass to a dark black. Even some of the grass decided to catch fire but the natural wet area prevented it from spreading too much.
Charmander then darted around to circle behind the Muril. He had hoped his distraction would work. He was fast, agile, and strong. He would then dart forward and try to slash The muril. After his attack Charmander was a bit confused. Charmander kept alert to try and avoid and attacks from the Muril but the display of speed and strength from him left his already depleted Stamina at all time low. He heaved and huffed trying to catch his breath, his eyes drooped as he glared over to the human. The wind picked up, the grass moved as the Pokemon watched the thought to be Trainer and it's Pokemon.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true]LYRA CASTIEL Lyra was shakey when it came to battling. ... Well, alright, that was an extreme understatement. It'd been five years since she'd participated in an actual battle, and she'd only been actually battling for a handful of months before that. Not to mention she was horrible at it to begin with and training had never really increased her skill all that much. If Harmony didn't go out of her way to attack anything that provoked it and was more passive like her trainer, the Marill would easily get the tar beaten out of it in the battle against a Pokemon it was strong against that was going to take place. Other than her another one of her Pokemon, an alse rather fiesty Meowth, the rest of her team would probably get pumbled, too, too sheltered from the world of battling to be able to put up much of a fight even against something that should have been weaker than them. And the fact that the tallest of their makeshift group had no idea what she was even supposed to be doing half the time really didn't help much. In other words, she really stunk as a trainer and the battle would land mostly on the water-type's shoulders. It'd basically be a fight against two wild Pokemon, only one had a trainer who just failed at calling out orders and didn't really even need to be there. Similar to that, the conversation with the Charmander before them would also land mostly on the water-type's shoulders, guessing as she was the only one who actually was able to understand him. So, while the tall brunette - well, tall in their eyes, anyway, but pretty average for any human - sat around, watching them in slight confusion, the Pocket Monster threw itself into the fray of a heated conversation, prepared to put him in his place with words before kicking him all the way to the moon in battle to add insult to injury. ... Or something like that. Obviously, the lizard was not pleased with her attitude in the slightest. ( I was sleeping!) he countered angrily, scanning over both Pokemon and trainer through ragin blue eyes. Once more, the Marill - having dealt with Pokemon and people alike with sharp tounges all of its life - was still not phased. ( I'm pretty sure Pokemon don't stand up when they're sleeping. Besides, you were walking and your eyes were wide open! What about that means that you're asleep?) Not sure of whether to put on an irritated look for added effort or a smug smirk to compliment her idea of outsmarting him - even though she really hadn't - she ended up putting up an odd combination of both. In the end, she looked rather silly, to say the least. At her trainer's command for a battle, she flat out groaned in exasperation. A battle? Seriously? There was nothing even remotely logical about that. They were going to get beaten into the ground. It would be nothing but a kick in the privates to her pride. Not like Lyra, herself, cared, much less had any reason to. It wasn't like she was the one who had to follow orders and take hits. Before the Marill could protest or even prepare herself, though, the Pokemon parellel to her threw itself into motion, charging up some sort of fire-type attack she assumed was Flamethrower and aiming it directly in her face. Had she have had any sort of a warning or preporation, she could have easily deflected or at least weakened the dancing flames with a water gun attack. Sadly, she had no such thing. Instead, her face was met with a horrible burning sensation - weakened due to type matchups, but still painful, gosh dangit - and her temper flared. Not even caring if her trainer called out some sort of command or not, the water-type decided to try a super-effective Rollout attack... only to find her opponent already in motion and circling around her. ( ... Are you kidding me? Is there something wrong with you?) she demanded, not understanding the point of the whole scheme. Of course, then it hit her and she groaned aloud once more. She wouldn't be able to aim properly if he was in constant motion. She could hit him in a variety of ways, sure - aiming somewhere ahead and hoping she'd timed it right or using a long range attack and keeping it going until he ran into it - but they'd end up wearing her out much faster than usual. But all hope was not lost. The fire-type already looked a bit tired and it wouldn't take him long before he ran out of breath and had to stop, letting his guard down long enough for her to ram into him. It was all a matter of - " Wait 'til he wears himself out before ya' attack, Harmony! Use yer Rollout!" ... Oh, gosh darnit. Well, there went that plan.

The Charmander was hit rough with the roll out. The bits of dirt flew up into his eyes as the force flew him into the air. The charmander had thought the Muril would have been easily taken out, but his assumptions was wrong. The Charmander hit the ground with a large thud. The air from his lungs escaped as he gasped and made a noise that made anyone fill with sorrow. The noise made you feel bad for him, especially bad if you yourself had caused such pain! The Charmander moved groggily angrily getting up from the ground. It was easy to say that this Charmander wasn't going to give up that easy, he wasn't going to faint! The Charmander's feet moved groggily sliding against the ground now. Instead of his fast pace he moved slowly. His eyes glistened in the light. A small amount of water appeared in his eyes, but it seemed to be he was holding back tears.
Yes, this Charmander was afraid. Afraid of being captured, afraid to be hurt, afraid to be lost like he thought his parents to be. The Charmander took a deep breath. His stomach felt strange, nervous. He was almost trembling from both pain and having no breakfast. He brought his head back up, fire building slowly. He was ready to fire once again. However he dropped his head the fire spilling out in a low pile fading as if it too was tired. The fire on the Charmander's tail dimmed as it's own eyes dropped lowly. His tail lowered lightly and his eyes snapped back as he tried to regain his attention on the Muril.
He stretched his arms outward, running forward at the Muril. The Charmander was obviously close to fainting, but he wasn't going to give up right yet! At least until he tripped. The Charmander hit a small root that was oddly placed. His foot dug into the ground as he face planted into the dirt right in front of the Muril. He was weakened a bit more, but he was still moving. His arms moved as he tried to push himself up.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true]LYRA CASTIEL It was then, suddenly, that Lyra remembered why she detested fighting. Throughout most of the battle, the brunette has simply stood around and watched as her closest partner did most things on its own accord. Not that there really was much to do, anyway, the creature simply registering its surroundings and planning what ways of attack would be best to carry out in the situation. Her own order for an attack was simply to make herself feel like less of a failure when it came to Pokemon battles. If she really thought about it, though, maybe crying out an attack name wasn't the best idea. What happened if it wasn't the right move to use and left her sparring creature in a bad position or simply made it out to look like a fool? Or, even worse, if said sparring creature decided to use something else, it might have made it seem as though they didn't have a very good relationship or made her out to be more frivolous than she really was. Thankfully, it came to neither of these poor outcomes. She watched with excited eyes as the attack was called out like they had been five years ago in the fight against Team Imum, her Marill curling into a ball and flinging itself at her opponent in the rock-type attack, Rollout, hitting it dead on. At first, there was a glimmer of pride and happiness that sparked within the depths of her being. A successful hit! Why on Earth did she ever think that giving up training was a good idea? She and Harmony working together felt great! They'd finally managed to put aside their differences if only for a moment and land a clean hit on a common enemy of sorts. Of course, then everything came crashing back to her, that being why she'd given up. The fire-type Pocket Monster landed on the ground with a thud, air escaping his lungs and a sort of gasp that hit her in the heart. Hard. Anyone could have felt a pang of sympathy for the poor thing, but for someone who burst into tears over her Pokemon getting poisoned in battle, it was a little too much. And then she was suddenly being thrown back in time, an Imum grunt standing across from where she was huddled up on the ground with a condencsending look. In her arms was the limp body of the water-type before her, whining in pain from the brutal assault it had just taken the blunt of. She never wanted her Pokemon to face that again, never wanted any other Pokemon to face anything similar. And yet... and yet there it was. The Chamander, fallen on the ground and forcing itself up to its feet and running at the Marill once more. Harmony, herself, however, didn't care how weak it was. If it was trying to attack, she sure as heck was going to fight back. The failed attempt at another fire attack invoked humor in the slightly cruel mouse-like being, forcing her to hold back any sort of smile or laugh. Now wasn't the time. Of course, when it tripped over an exposed root, it was too much to hold back. Within seconds, the water-type was spewing out all sorts of mocking giggles, nearly falling herself in her hype. Lyra's own mouth set into a frustrated line as she pondered what the civil thing to do in this situation was. " Stop laughing," she commanded weakly, not used to actually giving orders and having them carried out. Needless to say, the Pocket Monster ignored her, tripping over her own feet and falling on her back, still laughing. Ignoring the water-type instead, she made her way toward the nearly fainted creature and watched it with pitying eyes. Catching it now almost seemed mean. But leaving it at the mercy of wild, possibly ravage Pokemon much larger than it seemed even more so. Fishing a single Poke' Ball out of the bag slung on her left shoulder, she muttered a tiny, " I'm sorry..." before gently tossing the tri-colored object at the Pokemon and praying it would work. At least then she could heal him at a nearby Pokemon Center and not feel so bad.

Charmander groaned. The ferocity in his eyes as he struggled to push himself up. As the Lady came up his eyes fixated on her for a brief moment before looking away. Was this it? Was this the time when he would be captured? He would do anything in his power to make it so he was free. He stopped struggling however for a second. As the girl's words hit his ear holes he became confused curious and hungry at all the same time. "I'm sorry" She said. This was something he had never heard someone say. As the Poke-ball dropped, the white light spilled out contacting Charmander quickly. It then shot him into the ball, the ball closing and clasping as it hit the ground. Their was an air of silence as the ball stood still. The ball then moved, once. The middle clasp making a red light as it beeped with movement. It moved twice, again, and again. It was easy to see the Charmander was giving it all his strength, but he didn't have enough to fully escape. This meant he was only delaying the inevitable.
Soon enough the ball stopped and the Charmander was stuck inside! D:

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true]LYRA CASTIEL Perhaps it was a bit on the bi-polar side to feel so horrible, then usddenly shift to being so overjoyed. Of course, when presented with such an accomplishment as catching a Pokemon after five years of being stuck with the ones she'd miracilously managed to catch with or without the help of others', it would be a little hard to stay so upset. Also, she was Lyra Castiel. Was it possible for her to stay anything but utterly perky for more than half an hour, usually less? We didn't think so. Sure, that sense of dread was scratching at her mind with a vengance as the Poke' Ball dropped to the ground, sucked the monster inside, and rolled back and forth three times before stopping to a halt, but afterwards... Well, afterwards was a different story entirely. She now had five Pokemon rather than a measely three. Gold and Crystal would be proud. Maybe even Will would be proud of her. It was practically a flawless victory, after all. The smile on her face rivalled that on the still laughing Marill's in the background. As the breeder made her way toward the orange-colored Pocket Monster's new found ball, she began fishing through her pack once more in pursuit of some sort of potion. It would only be a minor fix for the weak thing's injuries, but it would be better than letting him sit half concious in the Poke' Ball until she managed to find her way to the underground city to heal him. No way was she going to leave him like that for any more than five minutes without being swallowed whole by her own guilt. Better to help him now than when surrounded my more common and more dangerous Pokemong underneath the planet's surface, correct? It took her a few moments to find what she was looking for even after closing the distance between she and the spherical object, but she wasted no time resummoning her new fire-type and attempting to spray the medical liquid on its wounds and restore its health. By this point in time, Harmony had stopped her own fit of laughter and come to join the two, victorious smirk dancing across her features as she stared at the opponent she'd beaten in one blow. ( Not tough now, are ya'? For someone who made such a big deal over stepping on your tail, you hardly stood a chance against me!) Perhaps Lyra would have stopped the rude, verbal barbs as soon as they had come out of the Pocket Monster's mouth. Sadly, guessing as she couldn't even understand what either of the smaller creatures were saying, had been saying, or ever would say, there was little she could do to stop the problem. She wasn't even good enough at reading her own Pokemon to tell when they were tormenting another being within the same vicinity. Instead, she wordlessly finished up her task of trying to help the poor lizard out and stood back to admire her work. Sloppy. Could us a lot of work. But, then again, so could everything else she did. It would just have to do, now, wouldn't it? " So... You're ma' Pokemon now, huh? Guess that means ya' need a name." staring the creature down, she frowned, wondering what could possibly fit. Harmony - named and gifted to her by a long gone friend - had been named after a musical term, obviously, possibly a parody of her own name meaning "lyre". Ever since, she had made sure to name each and every one of the other Pokemon she captured after musical terms in a similar pattern. However, off the top of her head, she was struggling to think of anything that could possibly fit. So, deciding that music was over-rated - it really wasn't, she adored music, but that was beside the point - she instead pulled a random name out of the back of her mind. " ... How about Nuri?" Harmony raised an eyebrow at her. " ... Nuri... Nuri... Flufflesbottom! Yeah, yeah! What do ya' think, Harmony?" To this, the Marill preformed the dreaded 2x Face Palm Combo. The pig-tailed lass took this as an "awesome". Maybe she'd think of something better later. ... She really wouldn't.

The Pokemon grumbled as it was soon released out of it's poke-ball. He was sitting down when the light had finished leaving him back in the world. Despite the short amount of time in his poke-ball, he already found himself enjoying it outside much more then the cramped ball. The wind was steadily increased making it chilly. The Charmander's tail still was at a low-flame. This showed an indication of how bad he was feeling right now. As the human girl approached him he just groaned lightly. He was hers, there wasn't much he could do about that now. He did nothing but sit silently as she sprayed the mysterious liquid on him. It was an odd feeling, his body heated up it felt like. His flame's size increased and his mood and physical well-being improved much. The Charmander ignored the Maril, he didn't want anything to do with her! The Human's words came out as a bit of mystery at first. "Nuri" Well, if that was what she was going to call him.
Nuri had seen many trainer battles. He himself hid from within the grass and watched the battles go on. The Trainer's had great pokemon! Strong and powerful. Nuri himself had a dream of being a Charizard! The power and strength, no one would step in his way. This girl could help him do that, now that he was caught, it seemed like a logical choice since he was stuck with her! Nuri walked slowly up to the girl, Lyra. He took his hand and grabbed a piece of her clothing. He was so much smaller then her he was most likely grabbing at a bit of her shirt. He stuck the tiny piece of clothing in his mouth and lightly chewed it. After he felt like it was enough he released the piece of clothing.
When Nuri was done he looked up to her. This was, the attention seeker. His eyes grew bigger and seemed to reflect more sunlight. He tugged on her shirt and raised his arms as if he wanted to be picked up, and well, snuggled. This of course, would hopefully make the Maril jealous! one of his aims to make the Maril mad, but really he just wanted the attention! "Char!" He said blankly to her trying to get her attention focused, he winced slightly, being reminded that he was not in the best condition, but ignored the pain almost entirely at the thought of her attention over the Maril's.
