▼ THE PLOT

THE BACKSTORY Nearly seven years ago, the infamous Team Plasma fell to the hands of justice, their plot to free the Pokemon of the world foiled and the leader's dark intentions revealed. Fearing another organization like the team or even other organizations of the past would spring up, the iron fist of justice was brought down hard upon any members of the team, many being given an unjust death sentance. The public did not protest, guessing as many of them had been wronged and believed this was justice, and many former team members were left pushing daisies. However, the plan backfired slightly. The harsh punishments were to serve as a warning for something like this never to again happen. However, as a few former Plasma grunts managed to slip away, finding themselves in the generally unpopulated region of Lyeant, they vowed to, instead, avenge their fallen. And, thus, Team Imum was born. With the secret group's members either intending to free the Pokemon like their proceeders had, just wishing to wipe out the humans, or somewhere in between, the group's plan was to destroy the human population of Lyeant - save for themselves - and move on to larger regions and conquer them, as well. For nearly two years the team remained a secret, lead by their fantastic leader Nymah. However, when Nymah's successor, Lorelei took the reigns, the group wasn't so quiet anymore. Making their entrance by detonating a party hosted by the league itself, all of Lyeant was thrown into panic as Imum tore through the region, laying waste to anyone and everyone they could get their fingers on. For a while, it seemed hopeless, the enemy to powerful to stop. However, the people had hope. Banding together, the remainder of Lyeant's population rose up against the evil organization and, slowly by surely, tore away at it until there was nothing left. The people who they feared would destroy humanity as they knew it were scattered, thrown into prison, or - though learning from their past mistakes - given the death sentance. Former leaders Nymah and Lorelei have yet to be found, as well as a good number of former members, blending into the population as though they were normal citizens. Imum was dead. THE AFTERMATH As news of the distant region's miracle spread around the Poke'World, more people grew interested in migrating there. The population of Lyeant skyrocketed in the following years. Cities were build, roads were improved, and, once again, the region looked like a region after the horrible things Team Imum had done to wipe out the human population. But all was not peaceful. Who was to know if yet another secretive group had risen under yet another team's fall, plotting the demise of everyone in the region once again? The people once again banded together, creating the Besser party, a political-party-turned-organization that would prevent and put a stop to any dangerous uprisings like that of Team Rocket and the groups that came after. Petty crimes began disappearing slowly and steadily across the region and, for once, the people could honestly sleep well at night. The Besser party seemed like a dream come true... for the most part. Some skeptics, still wary of those in power, were afraid the group would take advantage of the power they'd gain and use it to take control over the region. While they looked plenty fine from the public's eye, how much good will did they have behind everyone's backs? The Minder party was created by these very people. More of a rag tag rebellion than the group they protested against, they made it their purpose in life to harass members of the Besser and foil any operations they tried to carry out in order to let them know that not everyone in the region was their friend. Lyeant is now on the brink of Civil War, both parties growing greatly in numbers and tensions rising at a frightening pace. However, even the arguing groups were the not worst of the people's problems... DARK TIMES Arceus has gone missing. As to where he has dissappeared, no one can be sure. However, one thing is for sure - the other legendary Pokemon are quite displeased with the fact their ruler has vanished into thin air. Seeing how carefree and aloof the human population was, despite the fact the glorious Pokemon was gone caused suspicion to arise throughout them and, eventually, they all came to a conclusion. The humans had - somehow with their strange technology - captured their leader, intending to use his power for their power-hungry purposes at world domination. Or, at least, something of the like; they could never be sure with the race they shared their planet with. Angry, they have begun plotting to regain their leader through any means necessary. Even if it means killing off each and every one of them to get to what they desire. Of course, there was just... one problem. Rayquaza cannot simply fly through the skies above Irisia - attempting to locate Arceus - without a care. Mewtwo cannot walk through the streets as if nothing is wrong. A commotion would arouse and an overly confident young trainer would try to test their luck on a legendary. That's all they seemed to care about, anyway. But they couldn't just sit back and watch from afar; nothing would get down that way. All hope was not lost, however, when one of the great beasts themselves discovered one crucial technique - how to merge with the humans. In doing so, they would, essentially, take the form of the ever rare gijinka. Though, as any other gijinka, if they were careful enough, they could pass off as ordinary humans. With one of every legendary merged with a human, plans to bring home their missing leader have gone under way, Demon's Lake becoming their unspoken headquarters. It will take a miracle to save the people now. Can Lyeant be saved once again? Or will we go from sweet beginnings to bitter endings?
