As Kuezek wondered through the jungle, frightened. One more thing that scared him, he would've peed his pants. It was cold, dark, and scary to him. It actually not any of those things, but Kuezek was such a 'fraidy cat that he actually thought that those things were true. He saw that the path was getting smaller the longer he walked. Pretty soon the trees' branches were getting so low he had to crawl down the path. His black pants were getting mud stains on them. "Aw man, I'm ruining my new jeans. I just got a new pair a few days ago. Ah well. Stinks to be me." he said, branches scratching his back. He crawled through the mud and saw a small splotch of light and headed towards it. He saw a bug type pokemon flew quickly across the light that was getting bigger and more colorful the closer he got to it. He screamed, and sadly, peed his pants. He Pounded on the ground.WHY THE HECK DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING?!" he yelled out. He heard birds screeching and saw a few fly up into the sky. He crawled closer to the light. The light got bigger and bigger until he found the source of the light.
He saw a sign that said, "Firefly Springs". He laughed at the name of the springs. For some reson he thought that it was called Firefly Springs. He finally stopped giggling, and took off his shoes. He sat at the edge of the water, letting his legs dangle and swish through the water. It was cold and he brought them out as fast as he put them in. He pulled them out, but fell into the water, and made a complete fool out of himself. He crawled back up, shivering. He sat at the edge of the water once more, holding his legs against his chest, making sure he didn't fall in again. He looked at the springs. They seemed to be glistening with different colors. It was a beautiful sight. Reminded him of someone. He found a nice place and set up his little camp. He kinda missed hanging out with Seth. He was like his best stinking friend. Well he had to make new ones. He was looking forward to that. He couldn't stand being alone in the forest. At least there was light from the springs. His camp was little with a tent he had bought, his old sleeping bag, the one with dried blood on it. Ugh, he hated sleeping on that. It reminded him of the time he was attacked by the houndours. He also had a campfire, and some food. It was getting dark. He was looking up at the night sky, but then snapped back to reality. He got into his tent and snored away.

"Wir waren namenlos" Und ohne lieder The scenery of the jungle was actually quite nice. He could feel it getting more humid as he went on, and he new that he was probably going to be heading towards the springs he was told about earlier. It would be nice to relax for a while, maybe even get a fresh drink of spring water. He'd been walking for a while, and frankly the jungle was hot. Even with all the shade from the trees, and his jacket being off, he was sweating quite a bit.
But before Josh could fantasize any more about the fresh water, he heard someone scream some distance away. Josh, instincts taking control over him above common sense, hit the ground. His heart was racing, and he crawled around for a while before his brain caught up with the rest of him. He wasn't hiding anymore. He really hadn't been for quite some time, and when he was he wasn't very good at it. It was actually quite embarrassing, crawling around in the dirt for no good reason.
After some time, Josh heard another sound, one that made Josh picture something being killed in the water. Josh ran to investigate.
He quickly reached the springs that he'd told himself he was getting close to, further supporting his idea of some poor dying thing. There wasn't any blood in the water though, but Josh managed to catch the sight of some guy climbing in his tent. There was no real need to bother him, so Josh decided to go on his way.
Not really looking where he was going, Josh fell into the spring, making a sound not unlike something dying in the water.

As Kuezek was sleeping, he heard footsteps outside, scrunching the leaves, grass, and twigs. The footsteps were sort of far away. He took his lantern and zipped open the door of the tent. His back surprisingly felt good. Every night on his journey without his tent hurt his back. He was still half asleep, his eyes barely open. He poked his head out of the tent to see who it was. he heard a splash. He fell down trying to see who it was. He landed with a thud. He got back up and looked at the boy. The boy was wet. Kuezek was still half asleep, and thought that it was raining, but then thought a little bit more and guessed that the boy fell in the water as well.
Kuezek would've normally been nice and introduce himself, but he was cranky and tired, and said, 'Hey you! Get out of here. Can't ya' see I'm try'n to sleep? I'm tired. Go away. My eyes hurt. My back feels good. This is stupid. I'm going to go to sleep. Bye person I don't know." Talk about a nice way to greet someone. He zipped up the tent door and went to sleep. When he was heading toward the mattress, he fell asleep and fell on the ground. That was where he slept that night. The next morning when he woke up, he went outside and sent out his Pokemon to play. He stretched his arms out and let out a long yawn. He looked at the edge of the springs, and remembered the boy from last night. He remembered what he had said. Man I'm stupid when I'm tired. Who would say my back feels good? he thought. The next time he saw him, he would greet him nicely, being the friendly kid that he usually was. He looked around. He saw out of the corner of his eye the boy.
He waved his arm and shouted out, "Hey there! Sorry about last night, I was cranky and tired. Anyways, I'm Kuezek! What's your name?" He sat there waiting for an answer. He was always willing to meet new people. Hopefully he would even make a new friend.

"Wir waren namenlos" Und ohne lieder ... Was this kid drunk? Seriously, nothing he was rambling on about made any sense.
Regardless, by the end of it Josh decided he wasn't going to just ditch such a nice place to sleep, so he filled up a bottle of water in the spring and lied down underneath a tree. He looked back over to the kid's tent. What a weird guy.
Josh was up with the sun, but that sort of thing's hard to avoid when you're sleeping outside. Within an hour or so he'd washed his extra pair of clothes and made himself a decent breakfast of dry poptarts. This was a man who dined with class.
Anyway, eventually the drunk kid got out of his tent. He was no longer drunk(?). "Hey there! Sorry about last night, I was cranky and tired. Anyways, I'm Kuezek! What's your name? Well. That was definitely a large personality change.
"I'm Josh. Morning, sunshine." Was he trying to sound cool? Really this whole situation was just awkward. He should've left last night. It's not like a patch of dirt somewhere else would've been less comfortable or anything. ... This was too awkward. He had to make small talk or something. Anything. "You must'a been pretty tired last night. What brings you to this neck of the woods?"
SO. AWKWARD. Maybe this was just Josh imagining things. He really never was good with talking to people.
Inside of Josh's mind there was a steady, droning, "GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

Kuezek had felt stupid about his rambling from the night before. Well that sort of stuff happens when you're up all night, crawling through a big forest. His knees ached from all the the crawling he had done. Well anyways, back to what was happening. After Kuezek nicely greeted the stranger, the boy replied with," I'm Josh. Morning sunshine." Kuezek kinda starred out into the sky not really paying attention. He stood there, starring, and thinking. About donuts. What was with this kid's obsession with donuts. He hadn't even had one in like, a year. Maybe he was just, uh, hm... well whatever. So the kid likes donuts. Jeez Kuezek was a strange kid. He stopped thinking about donuts, and snapped back to reality. The stranger, uh, what was his name again? Wasn't it like, uh... Josh or something? He went with that. Well Josh was eating some poptarts. He starred at them in disgust. Those should be donuts, he said in his mind, as he soon got hungry thinking about food.
Kuezek sat down on the ground, opening his backpack for a piece of jerky. It wasn't a donut, but he ate it. It wasn't that bad. Blaze was reaching his head into Kuezek's backpack. He somehow got his head stuck in it and was flailing around. Kuezek took off his backpack and tried to get him out of the bag. He pulled and Blaze's little head popped out. He looked very relieved. Kuezek settled his Pokemon down and sat down once more. He sat in the rustling grass. It felt kind of weird. Josh just kind of randomly asked,"You must'a been pretty tired last night. What brings you to this neck of the woods?" He sat there, trying to find an answer in his head. "Well, it all started when I came to the lyeant region. I made a friend named Seth. We hung out in Vardent town for a while. Then we meet up in Hikari's forest. It was a scary place. I found this really awesome map hidden around the little lake. I used that to help us get out of the forest. Then we went to Chisai village. We meet this really pretty girl. I don't remember her name. It was quite a while ago. I invited her to stay with us at our camp. I don't really what happened next. I say again, it was a while ago. Then I went throught the region and stuff and ended up here, and I met you just now. So there That explains why I'm here." He babbled on and on. He even babbled more than just that.
Man that kid could talk a lot.

Man, that kid could talk a lot. That other narrator wasn't lying. " " et cetera et cetera. Josh was just entirely droning the kid out by the end of the conversation, He was basically white noise. Well, at least he wouldn't have to worry about any awkward silences for a while. Okay, never mind, this guy was just altogether talking for waaaayyyy too long. Josh was seriously going to fall asleep soon if he couldn't find some way to turn this guy on mute. It was like the soothing hum of a fan or something by this point. The guy had, as far as all intensive purposes go, turned into a wind blowing machine. Josh's eyes were getting heavy. There was no way he was going to come up with any ideas for a way to shut this guy up without being rude, especially while he was getting more tired by the minute. Josh lit his lighter, not even knowing what he was going to do with it, and just stared at it for what seemed like hours. The twisting flame dancing with the soft breeze, playing some game with the air around it. Yep, Josh was tired. None of this actually made any sense. "You talk a lot." Hopefully that would end the madness. [AUTHOR'S NOTE: table not used in order to properly use image for laughs.]
