A FALLEN STAR FELL FROM "Careful what you do, 'cause God is watching your every move~"
They say that a creature born to fly but denied that dream will always find their way to a place that makes them feel like their gliding through the air. A feeling that they have attained what can not truly be grasped: the glories of flying. The wind cascading through their hair, ruffling their clothes and carassing their faces like a mother would their child. The ground, so close and yet so far from the bottoms of their feet. Are they walking on air? They must be. To them, it certainly feels as such. But the dreamers will dream and, when the real world comes crashing down on them, it all just become another unattainable fantasy. One can stand on a cliff's edge for an eternity, but how long will they wait before they realize it is futile and give up hope? One cannot sprout wings through shere willpower, nor can they start fires with a snap of their fingers or control objects with their minds. This is all true for the unfortunate souls, trapped inside the pathetic frames of the species they are unsure of whether to dispise and mistrust or pity and accept, forever knowing what it was once like to possess mythical powers and eagerly awaiting the day that they can use them once more.
After all, it would cause a seen for the pinkette to begin levitating right there on the edge of Angel Height's, seemingly absolutely fine with it as if it had happened every day of her life.
The snow in the mountains was truly a beauty to behold, where sunlight flickered off them like diamond dust, reflecting the radiant beams back into the atmosphere and to which they came. Rock, brown and gray and as shimmering as the frozen precipitation that covered them peeked out of hiding here and there, reminding the people that they were not, in fact, walking on the world's largest snow pile, but, rather, a huge mass of rock covered in the light substance. The skies were as clear as any soul could have wanted them to be, the star in the sky a shimmering ray of hope for warmer weather in the future. And warmer weather would be a blessing, indeed. So cold it had been as of late, the temperatures dropping near or below zero for a good week or so. Being so high in altitude, as well, did not assist in the heating of bodies. In addition, wearing a short sleeved, short skirted dress wasn't particularly the greatest choice of attire, despite the fact that it was her only attired. Thankfully, unlike most, she was uneffected by the chilly temperatures.
"Hold my hand in the dark street, for if you do than I know that I'll be safe~ This, I know~"
A gentle voice hummed an eerie tune, casting her melodies off the railling of the paved path up the mountains and to every Pokemon who might have heard her. On any other occation, almost every creature would turn heads and admire the legendary, taking in her beauty and envying her possition. Now, it'd be rare if even one, maybe two if she were truly lucky turned their head an acknowledged her presence. It was almost... pitiful. The sense of longing on her facial features, that was, practically begging them to turn and look, to see their beloved Mew as she was. Of course, that would draw a crowd. The mysterious girl who can attract Pokemon with nothing more than her singing, or something as frivolous as that. But that didn't matter. Somewhere, deep within the depths of her mind, the twin-tailed female longed for the days before things had all spiraled out of control. Arceus was missing. Her creator was gone, vanished without a trace, and there was a chance they were never to meet again. Was he still bitter about her betrayal? Quite possibly. She would not blame him if he were.
So Marley stood, leaning over the iron bars and ignoring as people passed her by, gazing out into the distance and singing. "You tell me everything~ And should I forget what you say, then you'll come to me and tell me again~" Somewhere from across the stone walkway, a voice cut through the others and she turned her head slightly to see what was going on. Though she couldn't quite hear what they were saying, that was unmistakably a young man, kneeling down on one knee, and proposing to the woman before him. Four simple words. "Will you marry me?" She could hear the female's shocked gasp all the way from where she stood and had to tear her eyes away from the scene as she threw herself into the male's arms. For one split moment, her eyes lingered on her ring finger before, once again, she attempted to focus her attention on the mountains. She was not jealou, she swore. Legendaries were not made ot love.
"Yes, you tell me... once... again..."

What a beautiful sight... [/color] Jeffrey thought to himself as he gazed in wonder at the beautiful thing called love right in front of his very eyes. It was a human couple, the male had gotten down on one knee and proposed to the beau in front of him, almost as if on cue she began to cry tears of joy and accepted. It was one of those beautiful wonders about humans the Jirachi found miraculous, he has actually intended to come here to see it. Every time he wittiness love it leaves him awe stricken and full of a warm fuzzy feeling deep within. He glanced around for another beautiful couple when there he saw it, standing on the edge of the cliff was Marley. Jeffrey had always had a rather large crush on Marley, and thought her to be the most beautiful and amazing creature the world could have ever created. Every time he came near her his heart would start rushing and he would get a funny feeling inside and could barley speak. Hopefully now things were about to changes, as she might be in the moment from the sheer beauty of the scene that has unfolded in front of her. Unless she did not see it, that'd be a true shame it's one of those things not many witness in ones life time, true love that is. However if she had not he would still have another thing to spark up conversation, he could describe the scene to her and perhaps she would get in the mood and possibly develop a small attraction towards him, though it was highly unlikely. Jeffrey managed to stumble over towards Marley's position on the cliffs edge weak in the knees from his nervousness. He took a slow deep breath through his nose and out through his mouth, he was going to do it. He was going to speak with her, this was it. "Uh, hey Marley. It's me Jeffrey, remember?"[/blockquote]

I SCREAMED ALOUD AS IT TORE THROUGH There was a special perk about being a dreamer, however, that she, herself, always managed to overlook and not appretiate to the full extent that it deserved. Drowning things out was an art she had come to master without really even attempting to, the world around her flowing to a stop and only the thoughts whirling around within the darkest corners of her mind taking the reign and springing into full motion. The only motion. The people around her, the voice around her, even the scenic view that she had come for in the first place were washed away in a tide of darkness, the only thing her eyes "baring witness to" being the things projected by her brain and causing her to loose track of everything around her. The snow? Gone. The rock below her feet? Vanished as though they'd never been there to begin with. The newly engaged couple that were walking away only a few yards away? A far off memory, hardly even registering in her mind. It was htings like these that the particularly dark minded pinkette had to be greatful for. However, this also had its downsides.
When did he arrive? The male, that was, though not really a male, but more of a devine being much like herself. In fact, he held a similar rank to her own in his own region, though she was typically held on a slightly higher standard, being the second created and hailing from Poke'earth's most beloved region: Kanto. Reguardless of first born or what rank they were, the newcomer certainly beat her in one aspect - not loosing himself in his surroundings as she'd just done moments before. He must have slipped to her side in her state of self induced coma, though for how long exactly he had been standing there at her side, taking in what she would had been had her mind been in its place before he finally had the decency to speak up, dragging her back down from the clouds above and back to earth where a conversation could blossom with him.
"Uh, hey, Marley." Simple words. An easy greeting. That was all he needed to startle her, causing her to recoil with fast reflexes and stare her "attacker" straight in the eye. The last thing the Mew gijinka had been expecting was for someone - especially someone who knew her and she vaguely knew back - to outright speak with her. Well, they had always said that, when Mew sings, the other Pokemon can't help but come near to listen to her melodies. Sure, they were no where near Meloetta's, but they must have been enough to attract another legendary, otherwise the blonde wouldn't have been standing before her. Her eyes blinks, slowly at first, than rapidly as though adjusting to an extreme light change as she hurriedly attempted to regain a grasp on reality and remember who, exactly, was standing before her. She needn't bother, however. He did that part of the job. "It's me, Jeffrey. Remember?" Ah, yes, the Jirachi gijinka. Now she remembered.
"O-oh... Um- H-hello, Jeffrey..." she said, flashing him that signature, weak grin that never did meet her eye. One would expect Marley to be as cheerful and energetic as legend spoke of her character. Sadly, she was another story entirely. "Um... Uh... What... b-brings you here...? W-was I... bothering you a-at all...?"

What brought him here? It obviously wouldn't be the most ideal thing in the world to tell her that she was in fact the reason he had come to the beautiful cliff, just to possibly muster up the courage to get in a conversation with her. Maybe he could come up with a long drawn out convoluted plan that would make her head reel leaving her clueless and in the dust, making her forget what she had even ask'd him. That'd never work though, considering the fact that she was probably the most intellectual and complex Pokemon that even existed, well, second to Arceus of course. He was the leader, and the creator of all existence and living beings on the very planet Jeffrey walked upon.
What if he shared the truth with her? Perhaps that would strike up the question of, "Why would you want to see me?" that would definitely leave Jeffrey clueless with an answer to reply without telling her that he had been madly and hopelessly in love with her. He felt a bit ashamed for holding this all in and bottling it up, though he could never face telling her the truth, it could easily ruin any chance he would have at even becoming a friend. What if it might even embarrass her to the point where she might kick Jeffrey out of the plan to save Arceus, just so she won't have to face the humiliation. It was a lot for the young gijnka to ingest at the current time, so he would have to come up with something rather bland for her so he could just keep the conversation rolling.
"Oh, well, um, you see I was in the area and decided to stop by and check out the young couples." He said letting out a brief sigh of relief that he had actually been able to come up with something to say to her. "Don't you just adore human love? He he! I think it's quite beautiful in it's own special way." Jeffrey blurted out almost instantly, he felt a bit happy to get on a more light hearted a free of life kind of subject. He let out a loose joyus laugh and smiled at Marley.
